  1. That's an interesting idea. however I am. Running a H110m chipset as I never needed the overclocking ability of the Z chipset
  2. Hi, that's an interesting idea you have linked
  3. Oh Oh because my worry is I dont wanna overspend on a card and not get the most out of it. Which would you recommend?
  4. I checked it just Says Cooler Master and 550w nothing else. But for 4 years it lasted well so I have no complaints
  5. So if I update gpu it won't be bottlenecks by my cpu?
  6. Hi, I am running a Cooler Master 550w. Its without any certification. I bought it at the same time as the rest of the stuff about 4 years back
  7. Hey guys, I have an intel i5 6400 with a GTX 960 4gb and 16gb of RAM. I mostly play competitive games like OW and CS with RPG ( Witcher 3 and Fallout 4) . I am planning to get Metro, RoTR, Cyberpunk. I play at 1080@60 and so far have no real qualms except for maybe an occasional drop in frame or textures. Frame rates i guess I have become super used to 30fps. I have been playing with the idea upgrading. But for literally everything else my computer is more than capable so I am a bit hesitant as I feel I would just toss the old parts away. Is it worth it to just upgrade just the GPU and if so to which or should I just hold out and upgrade everything entirely.
  8. alright thanks guys
  9. I currently have a GTX960 4gb and looking to upgrade. I saved enough to afford a basic 1070. I mainly game on 1080p 60hz. But i would like the longevity of a more powerful card. With vega on the horizon should i wait for Vega 56? I luckily found a retailer which still has a 1070 for a reasonable price$420. I am scared if I wait it will be picked up by miners. Same i fear for the new Vega chips so i am thinking if its worth the wait. Plus custom card will still take another month to come . So what do you guys think . Opinions and suggestion are welcome.
  10. Better to go with the 10-series. if cash is a concern checkout the RX 4/560 those cards are meant for e-sports and are pretty cheap
  11. It will run 1080p just fine. but you might wanna check the RX 4/570 heard its faster than the 1050Ti
  12. What GPU are you using? Uninstall and reinstall GeForce Experience and then try maybe
  13. Theoretically any kit should work as long as the speed matches that of the one in your laptop. MacOS is a bit finicky when it comes to user upgrades so just see what kits people used at that time and if possible try getting that
  14. If you can get a 4th gen i7 for a competitive price(second hand ) that would save you quite some money and trouble of upgrading your mobo and memory. Otherwise if you are keen on getting a new system, from a pure gaming standpoint an i7 7th gen would be a better choice.
  15. Yes it would but I am not sure how much performance benefit you would see. Unless you are hoping that optane would just work for your hdd which i am not sure if it works that way. Might as well get another ssd.
