  1. I explained what happened later in the post. It was sent to the wrong place.
  2. I work every Saturday, and there are no Sunday deliveries where I live. FedEx tracking said "By 8PM," since the day before. I'm glad you have better luck than me. Also I understand what a tracking number is for. Apparently FedEx doesn't understand what a zip code is for, since they took the package to a city with the same name in a different state.
  3. I agree with bleedblue, if I were you I'd really try to go for an AMD Ryzen CPU, or even one of Intel's lower end offerings. Those FX CPUs are so old, and just can't perform well enough to justify owning them. You'd be better off buying a refurbished dell/hp desktop and putting that 1050 ti in it. I used to use that same CPU, and I had enough a little over a year ago with how bad it performed.
  4. Maybe call NZXT? They might have replacements available on their website.
  5. Wha.... I... How? Also what is that fan at the bottom for?
  6. Never had a problem with UPS, I've seen those guys fly down interstates during blizzards.
  7. So what ended up happening was they took it to the wrong state, with the same city name. I have no idea how it happened considering Zip codes exist. Anyway, my 1080 should be here Monday, and the shipping center that delivered it didn't even get word of it until Friday. It's actually ridiculous how many times I had to call FedEx to get this figured out. A quick call to Newegg gave me a refund on my shipping, with no hassle at all. Newegg was fantastic, FedEx is simply the worst company I've ever dealt with for support, other than maybe MSI.
  8. I had a friend who could snipe better than anyone I had ever met and he used a trackball.
  9. So I ordered a GTX 1080 from Newegg with 1 day shipping, and it was shipped through FedEx. People were at my house, near the door, when the package eventually "Arrived," however nobody heard a knock, and when I got home around 2 hours later the package was not there. Now after calling FedEx, and having basically nothing come from it, other than "we might call you some time, and if we can't find it, then you will have to wait 5-6 business days before we file a claim with Newegg," I'm frustrated. Has anyone else had issues like this? If so, how did you resolve it? I'm very frustrated that my 450$ GPU is just missing somewhere in the world, and I now have to wait days to even get an idea of if I will be getting a new one, or the one I ordered. This isn't even the first time I've had FedEx royally screw up shipping. I had the same thing happen when I ordered my 144Hz display, and had to wait 5 days, after paying 1 day shipping. Maybe the moral of this is don't pay for 1 day shipping? I have no idea!
  10. Then I suppose the 1080 is what I'll go for. I'm comfortable OC'ing so I guess I shouldn't have asked
  11. So I have a friend willing to go in on a new GPU with me, and I have been looking at the GTX 1070 TI mini from Zotac. There's also a GTX 1080 mini from Zotac with a 10% off discount, which makes it about 20 dollars more than the 1070 TI. Is the performance of the 1080 worth the extra money compared to the 1070 TI, or should I just save the money?
  12. Awesome. I use one of these for speedrunning, and a new one with new switches sounds great.
  13. HDMI and DVI are basically the same connector in different form factors (as well as HDMI having sound) I use an hdmi into pc, dvi out to monitor in my secondary PC and it works fine. This is the same cable I use in fact.
  14. Oh great, thanks, I'll try to pick one of these up locally, and if I can't find one I'll order one of these.
  15. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001EB26MO?pf_rd_p=8775829c-f3c1-45c7-8a4e-5aecb1453b40&pf_rd_r=1E5FNQDMWTTD26T2ZKB6 So one of these cheapo things would even work? The Reviews are awful for this thing, I'll look for a higher quality one.
  16. I am going to France soon (I'm from the US) and I will of course need to be able to charge my SurfaceBook while I'm there. It says it's rated up to 240v, so can I just get a plain adapter? I am using the SurfaceBook with a GTX 965m, and the PSU is rated at 102W
  17. I contacted BD, and they said there shouldn't be an issue in the event I need to RMA them. I may end up keeping them, but I might replace them. Still haven't decided. They called it an "interesting find."
  18. So a Minor update. I contacted the seller, and they said they'd replace them for free. My question now is Should I bother? They sound fine to me, but if I ever have issues in the future and have to have them RMA'd will beyerdynamic fix them if they're labeled incorrectly?
  19. I just purchased some Beyerdynamic DT770's from ebay and the headphones are labled 80ohms on the right side, but the left earcup says 250ohms. Did I somehow purchase a fake pair, or are these just mislabled? I ordered the 80ohm version, by the way.
  20. The left earcup is noticeably quieter than the right. It's not drastic, but it's quite noticeable. If I push on the side of the earcup the audio returns back to normal for around a second, and fades back out. If I listen to certain types of music (mostly with high pitched strings, for example) I can hear a tinny buzzing sound as well. I really don't want to RMA these, because I've already done it once for the same issue. Am I doing something wrong to the headphones? I treat them well, I've never dropped them, the most wear they get it me putting them on and off.
  21. I- How well an i7 and 1080 hold up today? Perfectly Fine. I'm running a 1060 3gb with a Ryzen 5 1600 and have no issues, you're doing great.
  22. The people on the phone told me where it would be but I can't find it on there. Every other number is on it though. Do you see it on there? I have pictures posted for all of it, except the cooler.
  23. I don't have the serial number though. They said I need that to RMA it when I got it.
