  1. So I was reading this https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/12/nvidia-to-get-a-boost-from-steven-spielbergs-ready-player-one-jefferies.html And in my head, one thing lead to another, and now I'm wondering if the release of Rp1, which premieres on March 29, might make Nvidia release the next generation gtx on GTC, which ends on March 29. Any ideas?
  2. So I have the NZXT S340 Elite case, and I am considering to maybe mod the top I/O part of the case to add in a USB Type-C port. I checked the case, and next to the HDD LED, there is about 1.5 inches of flat metal with no electronics. If I am to drill a hole the size of a Type-C port and reroute a USB-C extension cable from the rear I/O to the top, what would that entail? What materials would I need? How hard would it be? And also while I'm in there, is it possible to fit a micro sd card reader next to it too? Thanks!
  3. Is $350 a good starting price for the card? How much would I probably sell it for?
  4. yeah =/ sticking with this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gigabyte-GT610-1GB-DDR3-PCI-E-Video-Card-HDMI-DVI-VGA-GV-N610SL-1GI-/232355674095?epid=141769742&hash=item36197a37ef:g:axgAAOSwX9FZLyCT

  6. So here's the problem. I currently have this pc: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KDbLgL. Thing is, I just sold my GTX 1060 on ebay, so I need a gpu to run my pc until Vega lands, which is around 1-2 months. Question: what is the cheapest GPU there is that can run everyday tasks on a 2560*1080 display? I don't care if it is used, it just needs to last me for 3 months maximum. Thanks!
  7. I need time to order the low end card first so I can continue using my PC
  8. Already done: http://www.ebay.com/itm/EVGA-GTX-1060-FTW-DT-6GB-ACX-3-0-Barely-Used-/172751493508?epid=1085914007&hash=item2838ca9984:g:2WAAAOSwq~tZUses
  9. I indeed have a 1600x. Thing is, I have this monitor that supports freesync. I also find screen tearing extremely annoying. I was originally planning to get an Rx 580, but I was forced to go to a 1060 due to the etherium rush. So I'm not even going to consider another Nvidia card if I'm going to sell the 1060. The ideal card will be the cheapest vega once it comes out.
  10. I am currently running a EVGA GTX 1060 FTW+ DT, and I got it for $269.99 ($239.99 after rebates). I have been running it for about 2 weeks, and I was looking around ebay when I found out that they are selling for around 400 dollars. Question is: should I sell mine? I have all of the original packaging, accessories and stuff, and I am planning to get a used GT210 to keep my pc running until the entire grahpics card shortage thing is over, then spend it on a RX 580 or maybe even a Vega. Should I do it? Thanks.
