While this is very cool and nice. This kind of news should be seen as PR, as it is one.
 
This is like me saying:
GoodBytes is the best mod in the world. He is the winner of 3x GoodByte's Global Mod Awards.
While exciting (at least to me), it has little value in reality.
 
Now, if it was a third party, trustworthy, well known security group, completely independent, then yea, that some news worthy news.
But that is just my opinion.

So, here's my experiences, that I can come to think of now:
 
- After I've fixed a computer for a friend or relative, they always blame me for every future problem.
- Two guys were talking in an MMORPG I used to play, and one of them said that he overclocked his hard drive and his computer is now more than twice as fast.
- Whenever I tell someone that I like computers and technology, they always assume I just post stuff on Facebook and play Farmville all day long.
- My mom freak out every time an email from someone she doesn't know, slips through the spam filter and end up in her inbox. Something worth mentioning is that she use hotmail, so she freaks out a lot.

so this one time I was hanging out with my friend who is the manager at a tech shop by where I live and a girl comes in and buys a 2tb hard drive. we let her know that we install hard drives for $1 (the cost of the sata cable we use) and she says "just because I am a woman does not mean I cant work on computers" and leaves in a huff. two days later she comes back in saying that the HDD is not working so we take the computer in to look at it, we open it and the HDD is nowhere to be seen, so we ask her where it is. and it turns out that she scanned it and put the scanned image on her desktop to install the drive. and to top that off she threw away the drive she paid almost $200 for and she wanted us to give her a new one.

Me - "sure id be happy to help you pick something out or ill build a great computer for you"
*week later*
Them - "yeah, i just decided to buy a computer from Best Buy"
Me "......................."

Who uses Yahoo or Yahoo mail?
Pretty sure anyone who does hasn't been around computers much.
