Today when I went on my DIscord, I found that my microphone was randomly making loud 'popping' noises. So, I looked into this further and used the listen to this device feature on WIndows and it seemed that when I moved my mic at all, it would making a loud popping sound. Then, I remembered that I had a USB sound card. So, I plugged that in and the issue persisted. There was no popping yesterday; it was only this morning that it started. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Should I get Ryzen 3 or Ryzen 5
ItsRyan replied to elmers glue's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Depends on your use case- Ryzen 3 for normal gaming Ryzen 5 for high end gaming and video editing and that kinda stuff -
I get solid 50-60fps with a 970 and i5 4460.

Gtx 770 overheating and shutting pc down
ItsRyan replied to MegaMasterMike's topic in Graphics Cards
Have a look at this video from Linus Tech Tips: It could be very dusty and dirty and that's probably why it's overheating so much. How long have you had the GPU? -
I would say something like a 1050 Ti or a 1060.
-
The GPU temperature is pretty normal. However, your CPU shouldn't be going as high as 80C especially with a 212 evo.. Try to re-apply the thermal paste on your CPU. You can remove the thermal paste that is already there by using isopropyl alcohol.

Sorry, I'm going to be coding mostly C# (this year) in school. I will be using Visual studio 2013 community. -

I am looking to buy one of these laptops but I'm not sure which to buy. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N30SQUL/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1 https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01NARDDTI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1 The AMD A9-9400 has a higher clock speed and turbo clock whereas the i3 6006U has hyperthreading.

Although it is quite a bit under your budget, I got the audio technica m50xs and with a modmic 4.0. The m50xs have ok sound isolation but you can buy better ear pads for improved sound isloation. I enjoy using them for gaming and music. Also, here is a review from linus tech tips for the modmic 4.0:

I would go with an RX 480 8GB or RX 580 8GB
