Plantronic BackBeat FIT are decent if you're looking for earbuds rather than IEMs. They sound good enough for working out with and don't isolate background noise which can be handy if you want to be able to hear whats going on around you.

I personally have always had dual monitors that are the same resolution and size but having 2 different resolution monitors is fine, if I were you I would just buy a cheap 60hz 24 inch 1080p display as a secondary monitor. Possibly a IPS panel as it's a second monitor and depending on your setup you may benefit from the improved viewing angles if you're not looking at it straight on.

Personally wouldn't trust any hard drives from ebay. You can pick up a brand new 1tb hard drive from amazon or newegg for like 40 bucks or whatever. Is that really too expensive? Not to mention warranty, and its brand new so you'll get more life out of it. If you look at the date code on the ebay drive you can see it was manufactured in 2011.
