  1. Hehe Thanks! Long time now! it's time for another build! Coming up soon! I cut the sidepanel up to about 1cm smaller on all sides then the plexiglas. Then i cleaned up the edges, fitted the Plexi with Doublesided tape and fittet the aluminium frame around everything
  2. Hello! I just wanted to let you guys know that i entered Minimalistic PCs modding contest with this build, and i would love your vote, if you think im worth it! You can vote here http://www.minimalisticpc.com/contests/vote/ I will probably post a new buildlog for my next project in the coming weeks! i hope to see some of you guys at Dreamhack summer 2014!
  3. Thanks m8! Im trying to get funding for my next build.. i don't wanna tear this one down, but i really love the building part
  4. haha, thanks! Thank you!! Im actually looking into the idea of routering down 5mm of the backplate and then route a path for water and heatsinks (making a block) on the reference cooler. with a new 5mm Copper sheeth in the bottom i would get a hybrid air/water cooler that looks awesome (if any graphiccard manufacturers see this i need to get a hold of a new referencecooler for the 780, that i can test this on! )
  5. I did a mistake selling cryptos over paypal, i sent the coins and then got disputed, even though i posted proof of everything was sent and accepted at the buyers address he won the dispute and i lost 100 usd worth in coins. So about buying cryptos over paypal, its the seller that will get screwed, not the buyer.
  6. Thank you! Yeah in this case Function was definitly > form, im considering adding a shroud at the top though. hi! i really loved the look of the reference cooler, it also fit in very will with the rest of my theme. Since the card is really silent, and runs my games well i didnt find the need to watercool it. The computer is made for 3D graphics and Vray rendering (I do not like Vray RT) the processor is the most important unit, that has to be stable and fast in any situation. That is also why you wont see a 5.0ghz clock from me, since it's not stable enough for my work, that includes 3-4days of simulations and rendering which can not be interupted For the Top, i am using a 280mm slim radiator and front a 50mm 280mm radiator. The reservoir is a EK 400mm cylindrical one. you will not be able to fit those rads in a stock R4, the 5.25" bays needs to go ot make room for the top and front radiator and if u want the reservoir mounted vertically you also need to modify your motherboardtray to extend another 10cms to the right. I think two 240mm radiators would work fine though aslong as you are using slim for the top
  7. Hello everyone, thanks for all the nice words and encouragement during the build! Just wanted you guys to know that i've started my planning for my next build. A Scratchbuild chassi made for watercooling! (If it works out great i will also sell these in a couple of limited edition) We're talking a full build in 6mm Aluminium, No 5.25" bays, Lots of room for hdds and cablerouting and a built in reservoir. I cant compete with any manufacturers and im not planning to make alot of money, im just enjoying building computers. More info in my planning thread here: http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/103056-no-name-teasers-and-planning-coming/
  8. Updated first post! What do you think? HoneyComb is the right way to go? i also need to figure out a way to better represent the Reservoirs in the front im rendering right now, will update again in an hour or so! Updated!
  9. Yeah Orange/Black is really awesome! light blue is definitly a choice too... think Electricblue haha not that much skills Hmm I've been looking at the MSI boards, but im thinking about doing another Plastidip build where i can choose the PCB colour (check my project white out and youll see what i mean) What does you guys think about making those Orange slots in the front into topfed reservoirs? so u can see the water pouring down. Combing that with a Laminated Acrylic where i can laminate in a pattern where the cooling fluids can run.... hmm more thinking now... haha
  10. Hello! After finishing my last build, "Project White" i've decided to do something of my own again. Last time i modded a R4 despite the convenience of having a ready made platform to start from, i wanted to build from scratch. This build is in it's VERY early planning stages and im right now modeling it in 3d Software. What i can tell you so far: Scratch Chassi Build Watercooled Lightning fast The color scheme is not decided yet, so the teaser im posting here is a definite work in progress! Give me input! Im thinking i might go for a round buttonbase, instead of the octagonal base. I'd love to hear your Ideas! Keep stopping by and i'll keep posting updates
  11. It's a Feature of the g1. Sniper m5 It's the Electronic Isolation for the soundboard
  12. Thank you! I thought that i might want to add a couple of more memory modules in the future it's not the easiest thing to do with Hardtubes, so i thought i would go the practical way turned out to look good aswell Thanks m8! First of all, Thanks! The lights i have is mainly from the fanns, though alot of "keylight" is coming from a LED cable running asa frame around the sidepanel, aimed into the case. That LED Cable is also running behind my Res.
  13. Yeah, i really like the look of the bigger window, and with a 8mm Plexi it's about as soundproofing as the original panel with the same ridgidity Next build will feature alot more of that, now when i learnt how to bend them properly! Nomnom Cookies! thanks!

  15. I finally Finished my project! The sleeving was harder to get straight then what i thought! since my Sataports are filled up there are almost no room for a clean run But i'll let the images speak for themself! Big Thanks to Corsair, Sleeva.se and Aquatuning for their support in this Project! you made it Awesome! Thanks again! Now it's time to start planning for my next project which i hope will be finished by Dreamhack Summer 2014! it will be a VERY special one, so stay tuned!
