  1. Well, the CPU runs at about 65 watts and the GPU that you have listed runs at 120 watts. Depending on what you have in the rest of your build, a 450w power supply may be what you're looking for, or even a 500w-600w to make room for future upgrades.
  2. Unless you have a version of windows on an External HDD or a Thumb Drive, you would have to buy it as far as I remember.
  3. You might want to add one now regardless, then your system will run better, if you installed your OS onto the ssd for instance. Also: This amount for a pc, to run minecraft, What made you want to spend this much can I ask? Base Total: $3211.42 Mail-in Rebates: -$20.00 Shipping: $15.36 Total: $3206.78
  4. This guy should be creating the next Battlefield or sommet with those specs But seriously, obviously this person knows how to build a PC and all, but forgetting an sad and having a near $4000 build for mine craft just baffles me. My rig (listed below this comment) runs it better than he has stated with shaders. But VBO turned off.
  5. Check if you have V-Sync turned on within the mine craft graphic options. Also, a 1080 for minecraft?
  6. I would go with the first option. It has a 1ms response time compared to 5ms and also is a 76Hz refresh rate compared to a 75Hz refresh rate (small difference but better result). It also costs less which is a bonus I guess. Im running 2 of these monitors and I have had no problems with them at all; https://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-GL2250HM-Widescreen-Multimedia-Speakers/dp/B00B7ZE0G2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480943655&sr=8-1&keywords=benq+21.5

  8. The CPU is fine currently, Id decide to upgrade it when it becomes very outdated
  9. I have placed a bid on a 240gb SSD, I will upgrade my PSU to save me worrying about it in future.
  10. I was thinking that I may need to get a new psi, thank you
  11. I am currently saving money to get the new GTX 1060 but I was wondering if there are any other upgrades I need to do, Ill list my specs beneath this, feel free to comment! Thank you! Rig: AMD Piledriver FX-6350 Six Core 3.90GHz Processor 1TB Hard Drive 8GB 1600MHz DDR3 RAM NVIDIA GTX 960 2GB DDR5 Corsair SPEC-03 Blue LED Gaming PC Case 450W Power Supply Gigabyte AMD760G Chipset Motherboard
  12. Run some benchmarks and make sure that the fps is constant. Try lower settings to make sure that the fps doesn't keep dropping either. It may be that your map is rendering (depends which map of course). Thats all I can think of currently. My GTX 960 did the same to start with but now it runs fine.
