my brother has gifted me his old DSi XL, and i'm super happy. 

the cool thing about the DSi XL is that the displays are the same resolution as the original DS, so you don't have to deal with upscaling like the 3DS and up have to deal with when playing original DS games. so it's perfect for me, because i really like a lot of OG DS games, specifically a lot of pokemon games.
