and i'm done with Linux once more. i had discord running, and i opened chromium and it went to a black screen with a locked up discord loading screen, and that was it. the whole system locked up.

@imreloadin ikr... it's like, i wanna try something when people tell me it's stable, it works for a few days and then it fucks up.

the reason i change so often on my 15" MBP is because it's a 2011 and can't run Mojave... and i want an OS with a dark mode. but for now high sierra it is.

If everyone else says it's stable and then it messes up when you try it out could it be that you're doing something incorrectly? ?

no nvidia drivers or card here. this system has intel graphics. it also has AMD but that's broken so it uses the intel graphics.

nah the screen was still messed up.

and i can't use the latest macOS because you need a 2012 MBP or higher, and this is a 2011.

@firelighter487 If you really wanna save your legacy Mac hardware, that's the way to go. Unless you wanna pay Apple to play again :P I've used it, and my current MacBook runs just fine. Just follow the instructions on the dusdude page, and you'll be even better off than I am :D
