  10. Change the psu if you can I have had lots of problems with 3 corsair psu's , I could have been unlucky but still... 1600 ram is enough .. think diesel's (from linus media group) pc uses 1333 ram.
  11. My system shuts down when my gpu is used intensively I have checked all the parts (ram, gpu, cpu and mboard) all are running fine but the psu, i could not check properly. Ran a software named speedfan which showed a voltage of around 6.7 volts on the 12 V rail but the asus bios says its 12.1 V . Now how do I check what is causing the problem. My system runs fine on the onboard display. All the problems come in when I plug in my gpu.
  12. The display loses its signal but the system is running.
  13. psu is a corsair 650watt ( model name tx650m)
  14. I have a old 5570 which when reaches 72 degrees shuts down my system. I ran memtest to check my memory and its fine. Ran the system without the gpu and it was fine. Ran furmark and at 72 degrees system shuts down. I have a 650tm psu for a i3 sandy bridge and a 5570 which is a bit overkill. I want to know if its my gpu or the psu that is causing the problem. I read that when the psu is not stable it might cause certain parts of the motherboard to fail Any help would be great!

  19. CHECK THIS link from windspeed for help http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/7766-read-before-posting-getting-a-new-pc/ I believe a AMD solution would be good for a low budget PC. If u have 2k please wait for haswell.
