Lyte Starr's Achievements

  1. Take a look at Fractal Design Cases, They have a big verity of sleek cases. that look almost identical . The Define 5/S are really nice for full featured and their new C should be ok with the rad in front as long as it isn't too thick. The C has the power supply shroud which is a nice to have.
  2. This completely depends on which motherboard it is, and what software it is using. Most modern have pwm. My MSI motherboard has 4 fan headers, 2 of them are variable based on CPU temp, 2 are variable by static % only. If you are looking for a more advanced setup, you would have to look into getting a fan controller. I don't think there is any marketing material that says it on their advertisement page you would have to look into the manuals / reviews. Anything that has 4-pin fan headers should be pwm.
  3. Used to abuse a laptop in -20°C (was in car overnight) -> Turn on in warm room. Never had a problem with it. But I still wouldn't recommend doing that. You should definitely let it warm up to room temp and check for condensation before turning it on.
  4. Oh, right! I had to re-read what he was asking. Yeah, if the phone is already programmed to connect to the provider's tower, it should work.
  5. Most phones are locked to a single provider. You can buy Unlocked phones (make sure they unlock all providers when buying) or if you can find someone nice enough to unlock a phone for you, you can use different sims/providers.
  6. GTX 1070 if you want either 144hz or 1440p. You should go with 1440p it's nice to have the extra space. You won't notice 144hz unless you are super into competitive FPS and can push the frames.
  7. It's hard to say exactly what went wrong, but i'm glad this works for you. You might try re-flashing the other Bios? This Motherboard also has a clear C-MOS button which might also help with the other BIOS. I'm not 100% sure now if that's where bios code is displayed if at all. I may have been mislead by the MSI website to believe it is there
  8. You could try switching to Bios B, but sounds like you might have a dead Motherboard.
  9. Your Post code should be displayed here on the motherboard. If you don't have the book around you can download it here for each region: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/X99A-SLI-Krait-Edition.html#down-manual
  10. Check the Post Code displayed on the Motherboard against the manual. How many Sticks of ram do you have installed? You should try booting with 1 stick of ram and increase by one stick at a time if it does boot.
  11. Yeah do a quick restart, see if that help with ping times.
  12. Windows 10 32-bit - http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/lan/LAN_Realtek_V10_1_505_2015_Win10_S5_WOL.zip Windows 10 64-bit - http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/lan/Realtek_LAN_V10_9_422_2016.zip all the drivers can be found here https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/SABERTOOTH_990FX_R20/HelpDesk_Download/ Those files contain a setup.exe just run that and should take you through the steps.
  13. There should be an EXE version for most driver update. I would recommend going directly to the Manufacturers website and poke around there until you find it. If you know the exact Motherboard you have installed I might be able to help with a link. If there isn't an exe this is how you manually update drivers:
  14. Have you re-downloaded the Network Drivers from the manufacturer website? Also with a fresh install windows might be downloading stuff in the background. Windows 10 will almost certainly be downloading stuff.
