  1. My friend told me it might be this too. I thought it was weird because I followed a legit build guide from PcPartPicker that included the 550W. But now that you mention it, I did upgrade from their i5 6500k to an i7 6700K (Also downgraded from a gtx 1070 to a gtx 1060 6gb SC). But I looked around online and found this site which someone recommended to get your recommended wattage based on my specs: http://outervision.com/b/Ihk3sm. According to that, my 550W should be fine. But I am a noob, so let me know if I'm missing something.
  2. My build's PCPartPicker List Hi everyone. This is my first ever build, and I haven't had any luck booting it up. The only activity I can see that happens when I press the On switch is in the CPU cooler. Here's a video of the activity I see. There's a red light in the CPU cooler that comes and and then fades away immediately. The radiator fans in the CPU cooler start, then stop. There is no activity in the graphics card fan. And I don't think I can hear any activity in the hard drive. The only other thing I can see is the green PWR_LED light on the motherboard on, but that's on whenever I have power on in the PSU, regardless of whether or not I turn on the power switch on the case. On another forum, someone mentioned to make sure no extra standoff screws were behind the motherboard, causing it to short. There aren't. But the case had pre-installed standoff screws, so there are extra ones still in, even though I'm not using them. Here's a picture of what they look like next to the motherboard. They are not touching the motherboard, but (I'm a noob at electronics!) is it bad that they are kinda close to the motherboard? I would remove them if I could, there were no tools provided though. Any idea what I should try next?
