Clevo PB51EF-G review (credits to Bob of All Trades)

Highlights of this model:

x2 USB C (one TB3)+x2 M.2 slots

Removable battery

GSYNC with MUX switch (can enable Optimus)

Glass touchpad+fingerprint reader

Support OCed RAM (max is 3200MHz if remembered correctly)

Quite affordable for a 2070P laptop

Build quality is good. Cooling is good, but it has airflow problem due to short rubber feets. Due to 2 shared heatpipes, the GPU can run a bit hot in games (~80C) but keep in mind that this is with the CPU pulling 50-55W of power. With undervolt, this model runs cool for a 15 inch 2070P laptop. Yes it has liquid metal applied but Clevo stock paste usually has OK quality. The only cooling related issue I can think about is heatsink issue - uneven core temps (well-known Clevo issue).

but if it doesn't support memory timings and voltage tuning, supporting high frequency memory isn't all that useful... SODIMM rated that high usually stick to 1.2V, so in order to get them working the timings are super loose, like CL22

It does support that. Amazing right.

Now if it does support overvolting the memory modules ?
