  1. An i5 isn't terrible, the i7's are definitely better. But if you're just gaming an i5 is good enough. Did I happen to miss an article that says the i5 causes cancer and will kill you, because that seems like the only reason to avoid it at all costs.
  2. Thanks for the replies. I am going with the fury, the lower VRAM does worry me a bit, but the price is great.
  3. I am building my first computer and was trying to decide on a 480 or a fury. I know my best bet would be to buy a 1070, but i don't have the cash. Any input is appreciated. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202186&ignorebbr=1
  4. Hell no is the answer. Have you seen any benchmarks lately? Expect broadwell performance, which is good, but skylake and kabylake, which is basically the same thing, is way faster for single core speed. Prediction Unless you pair the 7700k with the Vegas card, then it beats Ryzen with Vegas. Thus 7700k is better.
  5. I would have to say the H7. It has a larger heat sink, thus theoretically it should cool the cpu more efficiently.
  6. You should be fine, the cleaner is made of soy and citrus, will be slightly acid, but you will definitely be fine. When I saw acid I thought you meant something stronger than citrus acid. Sorry to freak you out
  7. Alcohol, isopropyl alcohol. Acid would damage the cpu if it's strong enough
  8. Wait for the 7700k, I know I am. The price should be similar to the 6700k, and it will perform a little better. Plus, look at all those sevens, i7 7700k. Pretty sweet. ?
  9. If it's all games, I would check the drivers on the gpu and maybe even reinstall the games.
  10. Best answer on the forum I have ever seen!!!!!!!
  11. https://m.newegg.com/Combo/ComboDetail?comboid=3020938&combotype=2 this is a cheaper combo, unfortunately it has slower RAM. Motherboard is solid though
