You all have pretty much summed it up there. Just be smart about what your opening on your computer and keeping it up to date will prevent most if not all viruses and malware. I haven't used an antivirus in years, not even windows defender. However I do keep a good firewall on my network.

Hmm. How did the web filtering at your school work then?

As a fellow A/V Technician, I would love to see some of this tech, but these are really far out of the scope for what LTT is known for. Plus I'm not sure a commercial AV company would sponsor LTT since they are in a different market than what companies like Creston or Polycom are looking for.

To be honest, I'm not sure any of them should be called "geniuses" . They all do the same thing, performing the same troubleshooting you find on the first page of google. Some of them are more or less well trained monkeys.

I am a High School senior but i'm also an IT Intern, which gives me some pretty good access. My school has a 1 to 1 program, so literally every student is provided with a laptop to use for the year. They are locked down pretty tight, but if you know what you're doing you can get around it.

I would love the Razor Blade 14. Games keep lagging on my toaster with a screen, even when i have the specs set to light.
