  1. New will be fine, but I would suggest you try to find a local recycler or buy used. GL Chris
  2. Go into your BIOS --> Advanced menu option --> ROG Effects GL Chris
  3. What motherboard is that? pics less helpful than I would hope. C I assume top right.
  4. There is nothing objectively wrong with your list, and if you had gone ahead and bought it, you would be very happy, no doubt. I think it is a good idea that you are going to revisit your list, IMO, your motherboard/RAM selections were not on point. Everything else is great. 5. iirc BestBuy used to do a price match +10% on competitor pricing, but I'm not from America Cheers
  6. Hey man, super excited for you. That's a nice chunk of $ to be working with. Good build too, they really are your friends! Questions: What resolution to you plan on getting 144fps @? Do you already have a monitor? Which one? Do you know/want to overclock your rig or would you like more of a turn key experience? IMO stuff: Intel platform make sense for your use case. In reference to my question above, the 106000010600K is a fun/great chip to overclock with. The 3600 is a more of a set it and forget it type. Get the Super. The Ti is...an historical piece I dislike the timings of your RAM selection. Put an extra $40-50 bucks in to get some true CL16s, none of this 16-19 shit. Remember to check your motherboards QVL list. GL. Chris
  7. Do me a favor, push the two pin power connector on your GPU in just a weeee bit. Thanks. Chris
  8. What Power Supply do you have Aya? Also are is your computer in a full size case?
  9. You are straight up missing an SSD. What's the model of your PSU? Chris
  10. MemtestG80 is workable, for Nvidia cards. Good post here. r/NVIDIA GL
  11. Niiiiice. I really don't know much anything about monitors. Hopefully, someone else can comment or suggest an alternative. I do notice that the Samsung is a VA panel whereas the LG is IPS. Consider the environmental conditions of your set-up such as viewing angle and lighting. iirc VA is worse for viewing angle and IPS is bad with black uniformity Cheers
  12. Hey, congrats on the new PC! What are your system specs? Chris
  13. Holy cow. Check Ebay, there is an i5-6500 right now for $1.34USD, not including shipping. But that is only about 10-15% better than your 6100 (or so some quick fact checking says). But ultimately I agree with Fasauceome, a 3100 on a B450/550 would be the way to go. From a 750ti the RX 570 is a great upgrade. Start low-balling and haggled those overpriced listings. GL Chris
  14. The addition of an SSD will certainly make your system feel much more snappy. If you haven't upgraded to an SSD for your OS yet, it's a great upgrade. **Side note: Found a 1TB SSD on pcpartspicker for less than $100. 2020 me is laughing at 2010 me who bought a 64GB for $150.00!)** I disagree with any upgrade other than an SSD. I don't care what the motherboard QVL list of CPUs is, that VRM is less than good and I would not trust my non-k 6700 on it. If you want upgrade on that platform, only take the dirtiest, cheapest deals. Be patient and look for an i5 CPU in the range of $35.00 or so. Man, you need a full upgrade. Sorry to say it. What resolution are you even gaming at?
  15. Absolutely. I'm no expert but I imagine that the scaling from 3900X down to 3300x is fairly consistent. Here, watch this video. Watch this BEFORE buying an AMD CPU! - Every RAM Speed Tested C
