Hey All! For a while I have been planning to take my early model 2003 Powermac G5 sporting a 1.6Ghz IBM G5 single core CPU and upgrading to the late 2005 Dual 2.7Ghz dual core IBM CPUs. And whilst I'm at it, upping my system to 16GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM, and an Nvidia Geforce 7800GTX 512mb GPU. I know my current G5 Motherboard won't support all of this and so obviously I need to get one that supports the Dual 2.7Ghz IBM Dual core CPUs. I have used LOOT and it hasn't detected anything at all, It says that my load order is optimized, so LOOT is out of the question, it doesn't work and I need to do my mod load order manually, all I am asking is how

(Warning! Absolutely Huge ass post) Hey all! Hope y'all having a great day! So lately I have been playing tons of Fallout 4 (A bit late to the party) and as I've gone on, I've remembered seeing some crazy awesome mods, so I began downloading some mods into my game through the Nexus Mod Manager. All was good, I even got Automatron working. This however had come crashing down and crumbled at 187 mods. My game, however, had worked before with all of these mods together which leaves me confused. There are no issues with mod update clashes or game updates as everything is at the same update level. My game has become seriously unstable, only launching after several attempts ranging from 2 - 8 attempts to launch (once it launches I can load the game and play, however, at random times if I go through a door requiring me to load the world or an indoor environment it crashes.) The only mod I can see having issues is Snap 'n' Build where it doesn't even appear at all in the crafting menu (but buildings I have built with it are still in the game and I can still grab walls and such). Also a couple of settlement clean up mods don't seem to load up, specifically: Clean Sanctuary Roads and Sidewalks and Cleaner Settlements. The only thing I can put it down to is the mod load order being out of place. I have never really understood the mod load order and thus never really touched it. This could more than likely be the issue and I would obviously need to reorganize my mods. This however has its own set of issues as the nexus mod manager wont let me move mods in the mod load order as I want. An example is that nexus mod manager wont let me place Snap 'n' build any higher than 7th in the load order for some unknown reason. This simply results for mods being stuck in the load order it is and I can barely change it. I have also attempted using Loot and Fallout 4 Mod Configuration Tool to organize my mods and to no avail, nothing has been fixed. Now I would just be happy to just get Snap 'n' build working properly again but I want that and the settlement cleaning mods fixed somehow. This is greatly annoying and I need help urgently. Hey all! I just bought myself a 2005 Powermac G5 for a steal on ebay (Only $130 AUD when all other fully working G5 systems costed around $400 minimum here in Aus). I realised that my system is coming with a Quadro FX4500 in it and it had me thinking. Would it be possible to buy a second FX4500 and put the two in an SLI? I am doing various upgrades to it all-around anyway: RAM from 2GB to 16GB ($99 AUD) Adding a 1TB Hard Drive ($99 AUD) Adding an Airport Extreme card for wifi ($30 AUD) Upping from OSX 10.4 to OSX 10.5 Leopard ($65 AUD) Adding a second Nvidia Quadro FX4500? ($99 AUD) Also are there any more beefy Graphics cards that could outperform the Quadro FX4500 that would still be compatible with the late 2005 Powermac G5 as I want to try and squeeze as much power from this rig as possible (more of a fun project thing rather than practicality) Thanks all

How would I be able to hook up the front IO (Power, Headphone/Mic, USB and firewire) to an ATX motherboard? (specifically the Asus X99 Deluxe II) Secondly, would a Gigabyte Geforce G1 GTX 1080 GPU fit within the case using this rear ATX conversion mod (http://www.thelaserhive.com/product/g5-atx-kit-psu-holder/)? What are the dimensions of the case and card? I don't have a huge amount of experience with Xeons, however, I believe there isn't too huge of a difference from this comparison here: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Xeon-X5670-vs-Intel-Xeon-X5660 I believe they perform very similar and either choice will serve well

Apple back in the days of the first iMac in 1998 and the G5 in 2005 and even the 2007 iMac are all really cool. Old Apple tech from when Jobs had a say was cool and desirable. as such I love the G5 case, it looks so clean and modern for its age, and yeah, it is like a sleeper of computers. (A sleeper is a car that looks ratty/cheap/crappy but is super high performance). Unfortunately nowadays, apple tech is just seeing how much stuff they can get rid of and call innovation until people notice

As for future-proofing (I don't know much about future-proofing) I believe 5th or 6th gen i7 or any Zeon e5 would be more than enough to last you for gaming and programming for many years to come.

To be honest, Microsoft has done the same with some apps on windows 10, making it hard to screen record the Netflix app and such to my experience. This is nothing new and It does not surprise me that apple is doing the same. It would be more than likely that the owners of the content are pushing for more anti-piracy techniques which puts pressure on the companies who offer their services, i.e netflix, as such they would be putting pressure on apple and other companies to make it harder to pirate and use such content for reasons other than those agreed upon in the terms and conditions.

Now before everyone starts suggesting to get a standard ATX full tower case, I am hellbent on using the Powermac G5 case and I will not be changing my plans to use it. Now with that said. Some people have put up walkthroughs, blog posts and youtube videos, however, I still don't quite understand the process fully but am really keen to undertake this project. I am thinking about installing a Motherboard mounting plate but am unsure if this would put the slots out of alignment with the IO brackets. I am welcome to any comments and suggestions Thanks
