so i answer a call: This is Jacob from the IT Service Desk, can I get your sales ID and store number please?

Fred: hey i'm in a different IT department, give me a second, I'm not sure how to transfer on these iphones

me thinking: what the?? we don't answer calls on iphones...

Fred: Ok, i'm sending him to you

... really you're not gonna tell me whos calling or what the problem is before transferring????

George: Hello?

Me:This is Jacob from the IT Service Desk, can I get your sales ID and store number please?

George: *info*

Me: How can I help you today?

George: I'm trying to access <app> on my work phone and it works perfect when i'm in store, but if I'm outside of the store on cellular or home wifi, it doesn't work. The last guy Said I need to turn the VPN on for it to work.

Me: *blinking away the disbelief* OK, that would be correct.

George: OK thanks, I'll do that later, have a good day.

    i'm not mad at George, I'm mad at fred for giving him the answer and then transferring to someone else with the same answer!
