I ordered my schitt stack from the US, shipped to the UK. Pretty sure it actually worked out cheaper, and I believe it took about 3 weeks.

Yea its loads better, not really a fair comparison though. I was using different headphones with the old motherboard, and no amp.

The motherboard dac is bypassed when using an external dac. The sound from the modi/magni/hd6xx is awesome.

I used to have a gigabyte z270x-Ultra, and the sound from the mobo was really nice. Managed to brick the mobo with a bios update and got a MSI gaming M5 z270. Audio quality on the MSI was noticeably worse, despite them both using the same audio codec. I ended up going for these: Honesty the Modi is probably overkill for me. If you dont have an amp though, thats gonna make a much bigger difference to how much you get out of the headphones.

NZXT software is still pretty crappy. I wish I went with a corsair..... Kraken does look dope though.
