  2. Hello guys I have a small problem finding a part for my friends HP 15-e005TX laptop. He has a broken audio jack and I de soldered the broken audio jack but I cannot find a new one to buy. The old audio jack had no visible part number on it and I need help finding a replacement for it. If anyone would know where to find this part please inform me otherwise I will be without sound thanks
  3. Hey, just to let you know that upgrading to windows 8.1 from windows 8 has fixed all problems with the computer related to random graphical errors. I assume this is because windows 8.1 uses direct x 11.2, so maybe there was an issue deep down with the direct x copy. Gpu temps were definitely not the issue and same with Cpu temps. I have found that when it was still on windows 8 that when reinstalling direct x from say the dirt 3 redist folder and then a reboot and there would not be an issue until the computer was rebooted but that only worked once or twice (Just as a note, the person that is making this reply/comment is not actually Heny and is in fact his mate, i ceebs making an account and all that, and he signed into LTT fourms with auto login enabled in my laptop so YOLO)
  4. The gpu stays cold, but thankfully the problem has gone away for now at least
  5. Tried friends gpu and it was fine I was using his SLI, I'll try reinstalling drivers, have run mem test for 14 hours a few months ago all was fine, while monitoring the gpu all that happens is that the frame time hits the roof and then the lagg begins.
  6. Also my friend used my GPU for 3 weeks to test it and he had no issues with anything
  7. Hello We have a big problem while playing games. please watch this video we recorded to show the probelm that happens Video here <-- click this Basicly when I open games such as Planetside 2 Dirt3 and need for speed most wanted the game starts normally and then after 20 seconds or so the fps drops from 60 or so to about 10 and the sound also stutters and most of the time the screen then goes black untill the computer is rebooted. On Need for speed we found that if the video setting in turned to minimum the stutter will not occour untill something graphicly intensive happens then the fps will drop to 40 then 25 and then 10 and then after some time it will go back to 60. This also used to happen on my old windows 8 copy and also on windows 7 I think ether way after reinstalling windows the problem still happens. Would anyone have any clue what is happening also somtimes instead of the screen going black it can blue screen ether saying dpc_watchdog_violation or IQRL not less or equil. cpu stays cold-water cooled-70c Gpu stays cold-70c bios is stock setting and nothing is overclocked Computer specs asus 660ti cu2 i5 3570k sabertooth mobo z77 samsung 830 ssd wb 1tb blue hdd corsair hx 750 psu Please reply asap!! thanks!!
  8. Hello I have tried the Google DNS by setting it on the router, the problem still persists. Also I can play league of legends with a ping of 70 which is good ping for my area. But some parts of the game for example the in game shop doesn't load but the game itself works online. I Will provide a screen shot of my router settings after School. Thanks for the help guys hopefully we can solve it!
  9. Hello I just added broadband to our home phone package and I'm having issues with the internet connection. It will load pages such as face book and you tube also when searching Google the search results will show but when I go to click on the websites themselves they do not work the chrome loading animation just keeps spinning and the page stays white. I have tried the internet on 2 other laptops and a android device and they all do the same. I have reset the router and tried a Google DNS but the same issue still happens. I have contacted out ISP (Telecom) and they say everything looks fine at their end and we are both troubled with this. Here are some tests I was told to do and these are the results below. If someone could please help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Microsoft Windows [Version 6.2.9200] © 2012 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. 10. I'm currently running no OC on the CPU and GPU. Would it be difficult to send the card back to asus?
  11. While ruining windows 8 I installed beta drivers that still made games stutter then i re installed the non beta drives and still the same problem, then the gpu drivers basically died somehow and then the black screen, I then changed to integrated for the mean time and things were fine.
  12. Hello guys I have had some very annoying issues with my computer. After building my computer about 8 months ago I installed windows 8 as its first OS, everything ran fine until about a month later. The games I where playing (LOL,Tomb raider,Planetside 2 were all pulling 60 fps on my asus 660ti which was overclocked but after some time a strange issue happend where the GPU TDP was going to %40 and the temps were low around 60 c.This caused the games to stutter like mad and be unplayable. The computer screen would go black randomly and then a few days later the computer would not boot just a black screen until I took the gpu out and ran integrated graphics. I blamed the problem on windows 8 as it was quite new and buggy at the time. I installed windows 7 and everything was fine. After 3 months League Of Legends would randomly stutter like crazy every 5 minutes while getting 60 fps ( it felt like it was about 5) and then it would stop stuttering and the game would feel normal. I put up with this issue as it could just be the game, and now after 4 months or so on this copy of windows 7 I get a random BSOD while LOL launches after it has found a match or the BSOD can happen randomly while switching between windows. This issue is really annoying and keeps happening could it be my gpu is bad? and if it is how could I send it back thanks. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 2/8/2014, 14:57:40 Machine name: HENRY- Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7600) (7600.win7_gdr.130318-1532) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: System manufacturer System Model: System Product Name BIOS: BIOS Date: 08/13/13 19:28:07 Ver: 21.04 Processor: Intel® Core i5-3570K CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz Memory: 4096MB RAM Available OS Memory: 4038MB RAM Page File: 3846MB used, 4227MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.01.7600.16385 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: No problems found.
