  1. see my edit, and i reported it to be deleted, sorry.
  2. looked back a couple days and didn't see any info posted on this. This leak is saying it's going to be using the gddr6 spec. am i the only one that was assuming after amd got the ball rolling on hbm memory that nvidia would jump on board. (first to market usually has all the big costs). Higher initial release costs are not a good thing either.... full article here--> wccf tech writeup nevermind i found it here, sorry,
  3. i belive it uses hsl colors not rgb, but there are color converters online
  4. depending on what you are looking for the minecraft replay mod is a cool tool for recording in game footage, not good for sound or live play though. https://www.replaymod.com/
  5. or nvidia could give it a model number like the rest of their gpu's gtx 1090 Titan
  6. most consumer routers setup the lan ip as 192.168.1.1 and use the private range for internal networks, Edit: and mask would be 255.255.255.0
  7. with current sizes i don't see a use for enthusiasts, But by releasing them in smaller sizes they will be able to refine the tech to lower cost and hopefully make larger drives available. 3.7 gb/s is what linus claimed the speed is on optane and the rated read speed of a 950 pro nvme drive is only 2.5 gb/s there could be some performance to be had. i have a 7700k, 200 series chipset and ssd/hdd system. I plan to pick one up to see what kind of performance improvements if any over what I'm running. if it's only $50 why not right?
  8. if you don't connect the w pin it should work but the colors will be mixed up, seems the led pins are in the order r-g-b-+ , and the connector is w-b-r-g-+ (but i would cover the extra pin with something)
  9. it's because your led strip is rgb , and cable is wrgb.
  10. i'm in no rush, waited 3 months for the ryzen system, but if vega is just running on par with nvidia is it worth the wait for the same performance? are there any leaks or estimates on how good vega will be?
  11. i just built 2 systems, please recommend graphics cards for each ( for gaming ) price is not an issue but don't want to spend more than I need to. 1st rig I7 7700k asus maximus hero ix currently has a Gtx 1060 6g 3 monitor setup @ 1080p but plan to upgrade the center to a 144hz 1080p 2nd rig amd R7 1700 asus prime b350 currently has a Gtx 960 2g 2 monitor setup @ 1080p adding a 3rd soon all at 60hz
  12. the chassis option does not add liquid cooling the power supply, it adds an aio(all in one) to the case for cooling the processor it's just a plain 460w power supply your power supply does not matter for the number of monitors, both will get there power from the mains(wall socket) hope i helped a little.
  13. to make your motherboard support a newer chip ( i think everyone is assuming you have an older motherboard as it's not listed)
  14. that system got a new supply, But it was cleaned and put in one of my home systems (my sons minecraft server), so if it fails i don't have to leave the house to service it.
