  1. The main reason is that Youtube is now limiting the ads the content creators can themselves put in their videos. Since ads placed directly in the video have become a major source of revenue for many youtubers (LTT alike) it's threatening their livelyhood.
  2. I used the link, signed up for Vessel but I still can't watch the newer LTT videos: On my account it shows up: But when I click on a video, this shows up:
  3. I know I'm not an active member of this forum but I've been watching LinusTechTips for around 3 years now and Techquickie and ChannelSuperFun right from the start Hopefully that still counts as being part of the community. Anyway, I like the carbon fibre look on the AMP Extreme. It looks very cool, IMO.
  4. I like the design a lot. It's nice and clean.
  5. ^^ They didn't get $200k each, that was the total sum. The compensation was $10 per thousand views. So, for instance, if your videos that matched the criteria set by EA (remember, 3 vids max per Youtuber) totalled 1 million views before the 29th of November, you received $10 thousand from EA in addition to the Youtube advertising money. Granted, that is still a lot of money but that's nowhere near to $200k. [if you look at the assignment, it says compensation: $10 (CPM). View cap: 20,000,000. Ergo, $10 x 20,000 is $200,000.]
  6. I saw this build on Linus' stream and had to check it out in the forum as well. Just wow! The build is spectacular even without any lights but the lighting adds so much - just the right amount of light in the right places. Spectacular work!
