  1. No. You're probably limiting the volume somewhere in your phone volume settings.
  2. Thumbs up for FSN siggy ref.
  3. He can't skip a DAC if he wants to use a digital output. Tell him to just get a Schiit Fulla 2.
  4. Performance is fairly similar, so I would just go with whichever is cheaper. The Klipsch isn't 50% better than the Logitech.
  5. The HD 600 is $299 on Amazon right now. Kind of a no-brainer if you know you like the sound of Sennhieser HD500 and 600 series headphones. That said, you haven't really stated why you prefer Sennhesier, what kind of sound signature you prefer, or what gear you have previous experience with.
  6. Follow the troubleshooting and FAQ on the Schiit website.
  7. Then get a Schiit Fulla 2. Best to buy direct for their website if you're in the US. Nothing else is worth recommending unless you really can't live without virtual surround or something like that.
  8. I imagine if military intelligence were so widely known, torturing anyone for such information would be completely unnecessary. Why don't they teach children logic in these schools.
  9. For me to add them to the recommended thread, I need people to provide precise (not necessarily accurate in the absolute sense) of what the speakers sound like. A summary like "detailed with good bass and crisp highs" is not adequate. Links to reviews are fine. Already approved: Micca PB42X JBL LSR305 JBL LSR308 Vanatoo Transparent One

    Great headphones?

Perhaps we're using the word "punch" differently.

    Great headphones?

Disagree on the X2. The bass bump in that headphone is too low to be considered "punch".

    Great headphones?

They would actually be great if the OP wants punch, if they can find them in budget of course.
  13. "Float plane" is the early access donor package on LTT. Not an actual pilot. The thing about doing a poll is that you are going to get a lot of noise from people who have only tried one or two headphones or are just following what other people have done. Products almost always have to be considered on their own merits, not that of the company.
  14. He forgot Boses, Sennheisers, and Akgs, to name a few.
  15. Kingston HyperX is a headphone company?
  16. On that subject. Have you actually tried both the K7XX and K712, or are you just parroting this reddit post?
  17. Meaning that I oppose your "who cares" attitude. There may be consequences for other buyers who have a less fortunate experience that you did. Using an extreme example was intended to hammer the point home, but it looks to have been wasted effort.
  18. I've always thought so. Blood diamonds sparkle just as much, after all.
