  1. I think the Info-Eye camera app would be neat to use. I have a dbrand skin on my iPad mini, they're really nice and durable.
  2. Wow this actually worked great for me. I followed the instructions in the video, then I opened BF4 and changed the resolution and turned of AA, and the picture is really good. I was really surprised my card could handle it because of the age of my build. I've been waiting for X99 to upgrade. Monitor: Samsung UN32EH5000FXZA 32" 1080p LED Backlit TV OS: Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro CPU: Intel Core i7 2700K Overclocked to 4.5 GHz w/ Corsair H100 & Noctua Fans RAM: Corsair Vengance LP 16GB DDR3 @ 2133MHz MB: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 Revision 1.3 w/ New UEFI Update SSD: 2x Corsair Force Series GT 240GB in RAID 0 (Yes, I do daily backups to my FreeNAS box.) GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 580 Classified ULTRA+ 03G-P3-1595-AR NIC: ATTO FastFrame NT12 Dual Port 10GBASE-T NIC (Linked for 20Gbps) (I used the ATTO card instead of Intel because this machine is dual purpose. It is also a Hackintosh so I can use it as my DAW and video editing workstation. And I needed Windows and OS X support.) I think that is all of the pertinent information. Thanks Again, Mitch
  3. I have a question. Will the editing position pay enough for a single person to live in the area? I have a good job now, but I hate working with these people. I specialize in live and post production audio/video and would love to work with you guys. I would definitely take a pay cut to enjoy my work.
  4. OS Drives: In my last build I chose to use two 120GB Corsair Force GT SSDs because they were the best available at the time, according to reviewers. The two SSDs are connected to my Z68 chipset's SATA III ports for optimal throughput. One SSD has OS X 10.8.4 installed, and the other has Windows 7. Storage Drives: For storage I chose to use two Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 2TB hard drives because I have been using Seagate drives for many years, and i found these drives to be relatively inexpensive. In the beginning I had them mirrored, but soon realized that 2TB wasn't going to be enough space. So I have been running them in RAID 0 for the past eight months, and I have planned on buying a drobo, or something similar, but haven't yet had the extra funds. The two Seagate drives are connected to the two SATA III ports from my motherboard's Marvell 88SE9172 chip. And, I set the RAID up in OS X, because OS X doesn't see my motherboard's hardware RAID. And, I am able to access the OS X software RAID from Windows 7 using MacDrive 9 Pro. Picture: Here is a picture of the backside of my case where the hard drives slide in. The case is an Antec ONE. And, it's pretty dusty because I have been using the computer for about a year now. Social Media Links: 1. Facebook share from Mitchell Wilson II: Facebook Link 2.
