  1. I found a gtx 1070 online which has a broken fan, It's really cheap (about$220). I was thinking of buying it and getting these fans from ali express and replacing them, I would also clean and replace the thermal paste. The original owner says he's used it for one year and that he never mined on it. Should I get it? Is there any risk the fans won't work? I've opened many gpus and I won't break it. Atm I have a 950 which can't run most games even at 1080p and I want to upgrade. Before asking, where i love used 1070 go for around $340.
  2. obviously i'm not comfortable with 2 key roll over, I'm looking into getting a tkl rubber dome but i can't find any
  3. thanks to everyone for the advice/tips. I'm now typing faster and better with the razer keyboard, still not as fast as I'd like but I'm getting there. I've heard cherry mx red are good for gaming. I'll probably get a cougar puri tkl which is the cheapest cherry mx red tkl keyboard i can get.
  4. I've recently got my first mechanical keyboard (blackwidow chroma v2 w/green switches) and I love doing anything but playing fps games with it. Is this normal? I was using an old microsoft membrane keyboard before. (wired keyboard 500) Whenever I use the razer keyboard on csgo I play really bad, my movement feels slow. With the mechanical I also have a lot more spelling mistakes and multiple keystrokes when I only want to press one key. I feel like the mechanical keys are too light for typing. All advice is appreciated.
  5. It's very subjective. I've used logitech m100, g203, g502, g303; razer deathadder, mamba TE and zowie fk1, ec2-a. For fps & shooters i love the g203 & ec2-a but i hate the ec2-a scroll wheel. I like big mice for anyhing but fps & shooters. fk1 and g502 being my favorites big mice. I can use the g203 for windows tasks/non-gaming but the bigger mice feel more comfortable for these tasks. At the moment i'm using a g203 and i love it. I'd like to try the g pro and see if the cord tangles or not, my g203 tangles some times. I'd say a good mouse feels like you have total control of the cursor or your aim in game and it never skips, I'd also include having two side buttons and a dpi button to switch between normal & sniper. IMO logitech software is the best for customization, razer is the best for rgb (chroma can't be beaten) but it's really buggy (I have to re-plug my mice/keyboard at least once a day)
  6. Have you kept using it? Are there any issues with the keycaps atm? Have you bought any aftermarket or know any ones that work in this keyboard? What about the volume wheel? Thanks for the review, I couldn't find a single good english review online
  7. I need some help setting up my sub, I've got an 15 powered sub I use for parties at home and i've got two litle 8' powered speakers. I want to set up my sub so that it plays the low frequencies. About 100hz and below. I've got a sub output on my motherboard and the realtek software plays audio on it but any other app/music/video only plays sounds only on the two 8' and none on the sub. I've set it up on windows so that it's a 5.1 without the rear speakers and the sub is center & sub at the same time. If it's of any help i've got an h370 aorus g3 wifi.
  8. A week ago my xbox 360 controller broke and i've heard steam added native support for ps4 controllers and i wanted to buy one. Does anyone play gta v on pc with a ps4 controller and have buttons promps? With my xbox 360 controller i get a promp on the display which says what each button does. I've heard there's some programs which simulates an xbox controller but i don't want to get an lb message on a game when i'd have r1 or a Y prompt when i have a triangle. I mean these on the buttom Some people discussed this here but they were using ds4 and i've heard steam added native support for ps4 controllers
  9. First of all I'm not the the usa so don't use amazon/newegg prices to help me. I'm looking for a motherboard to upgrade to coffe lake with an 8400. I can get the the Gigabyte B360 Aorus Gaming 3 for $145 the ROG STRIX B360-G GAMING for $148 the Gigabyte Z370 HD3 for $161 the ROG STRIX B360-H GAMING for $165 the Gigabyte B360 Aorus Gaming 3 Wifi for $167 the Gigabyte H370 Aorus Gaming 3 Wifi for $177 I'm mainly into music production and need a decent on board audio until I can afford a great dac. I would also need to get a new wifi solution, that's why added the wifi editions. Which one should I buy? The h370 cost a little more than the b360 (both aorus gaming 3 wifi) and it has a better realtek solution. Would the $10 be worth? I could get a z370 but it wouldn't have wifi and the realtek would be the same as the b360 aorus. Also I won't be upgrading from an 8400 in the near future since i don't have big multi core works to do. Only gaming, music production and some photo editing. [*] Just in case anyone asks the i5 8400 would cost me $240 I only want to use asus or gigabyte motherboards since asrock and msi have both failed me and some other friends in the past. Thanks in advance for anyone replying.
