When playing solo, the only problem is the AI are pretty useless. Hence why playing with friends or actual people improves the experience.
-
I Like Payday:The Heist's Soundtrack, it builds up the hype whilst you play. Plus Payday 2's is even better in my opinion.
-
thanks for the comment. I couldn't agree with you more, but I do a lot of 3D rendering hence why I'd like to have hyper threading.

Sweet, thanks for the info

Whats the power comsumption like on your 780?? I only ask because I was wondering if a Corsair HX750 Watt PSU would be able to handle two of them if I wanted to add one later down the line.
-
I see your point, I was looking at the Corsair HX650 but I thought for the extra £10 I might as well go for 750W. I'd rather have the option later down the line to add another 780 then have to upgrade PSU as well. cheers

I think I've decided, EVGA! Will look much better in my new build. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/37240-2013-new-gaming-build-thoughts/#entry478901 thanks

I may SLI in the future, would a 750W cover two GTX 780??? I don't think I'm going to need it for a while though.

I currently have a 120GB SSD, which is almost full of programs etc. I play around in UDK and save all my projects on SSD, plus I'd like to maybe install some games on SSD to reduce loading times.

Hi Guys, Planning a new build, but not sure which graphics card to go for. I'm split between two different Nvidia GTX 780's. Gigabyte GTX 780 Windforce 3X OC http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4621#ov or EVGA GTX 780 Superclocked with ACX cooler http://eu.evga.com/products/moreInfo.asp?pn=03G-P4-2784-KR&family=GeForce%20700%20Series%20Family&uc=EUR I've seen a few benchmarks of these cards and have seen them outperform the Titan in some games, which is Awesome! If anyone has experience with either of these cards, your input would be appreciated. cheers, J

Hi there, I am studying Computer Science and when I was learning Python I found the following sites helped with the basics. Codecademy is good at it gives you a chance to practice and Wikibooks is good for referencing terms. http://www.codecademy.com/tracks/python http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Non-Programmer%27s_Tutorial_for_Python_3 Happy Coding!

what got you into computers and when did you do your first build?
Gamerj27 replied to jake's topic in General Discussion
I got into computers about 2 years ago, up until then I had only owned one computer, a Medion Laptop. Then I was fortunate enough to get a part time job, where I started to learn about how PC's work and I thought it was cool and interesting. So I saved up some money and build my first Desktop PC around 1.5 years ago, and I am still currently using it.
