  1. I just upgraded from a CM 212. With a 4790k @4.7 1.24v my temps dropped by 15°c across the board. 80-85°c down into the 70s in OCCT. You'll probably do better with the NH-D15S, it's basically the single fan version which will be more than enough for you.
  2. Just letting you know that even though the Asus has a very limited freesync range of 35-90 The Acer XF270HU, however, goes from 23-144. Which makes the Asus obsolete IMHO.
  3. The Dell comes factory calibrated, the LG not so much. Me personally I didn't like the 21:9 form factor. The biggest deal breaker was with Netflix. In Internet Explorer 21:9 movies would be in 16:9 aspect ratio so there's black bars all around the movie. Some say to use Chrome for Netflix and use an extension, but that will lead to Netflix in 720p instead of 1080p, which is a pretty noticeable difference if you've been accustom to the higher bit rates.
  4. Both of those are using the exact same panel, both will have very similar QC issues.
  5. Not surprised one bit. Panels made by Auoptronics all have awful quality control. - fingerprints on the screen - dust under the screen - massive backlight bleed issues I'll never buy anything from auoptronics.
  6. I own two of those Samsung's. I'd go for the dell for the factory calibration. I went for the Samsung because it was on sale at Bestbuy Canada.
  7. Look into a define s from fractal. It's s mid tower that has soo much room inside.
  8. A combonation would be like a define r5. Or maybe a be quiet silent base 800?
  9. Maybe a define s from fractal design. http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/define-series/define-s
  10. If you want good fans that won't break the bank and look much better look at the f140MP line from Phanteks. http://thermalbench.com/2015/01/07/phanteks-ph-f120mp-ph-f140mp-fans/4/ http://thermalbench.com/2015/08/17/noctua-nf-a14-flx-140mm-fan/4/
  11. "CX Series PC power supplies are an excellent choice for basic system builds and desktop PC computer upgrades. CX Series PSUs are available in a variety of power configurations, and include features that are normally found only on premium power supplies."
  12. Seasonic makes very good power supplies, and this pirticular one has a great price and build quality. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/seasonic-power-supply-s12ii620bronze You can read on it here: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2010/05/18/seasonic_m12ii620_power_supply_review/9 Basically it's built very well inside and out, easily provided power at 45c, high quality capacitors, and did very well with voltage regulation.
  13. http://www.anandtech.com/show/7930/the-amd-radeon-r9-295x2-review/17 on Anandtech they reached between 651 and 727 for their full system. So get an 850-1000 watt.
