Quick one, have there been any updates on the kids first pc build wood toy thing in a while? last i heard was in a vid a while back saying theyd figured out the magnet issue. guessing its still a couple of years out atleast. not and important question for sure, im just curious. also shipping this thing to Japan will be a ballache, unless its flatpack i suppose... $70 USD for a tool that will last atleast a decade and is high quality is worth it in my opinion after all, buy cheal buy twice. That said, it all depends on how the final product turns out and how much the various extra loadouts will be but with how long its taken to get this far and how excited the lads are it seems like all our concerns will be addressed soon enough especially if that pop-up store Linus talked about in WAN show this week happens. there will be atleast 1000 hands on final product reviews at that point, so hang fire, sit tight and relax. soon we will know.

question about wealthfront, is it us only? seems to want a US mobile number in order to register. would suck if thats the case, would like to give it a go. cheers

does anyone know how to use codes form other regions? im in japan and my psn account is european so the codes with the game wont work because of it, is there a way around it? Cheers

Hi all, Hope everyone is well Quick question, could anyone list websites, youtube channels, books etc for learning to enhance my current knowledge? currently i live in Japan apart from work and time with the wife i have very little to do so id like to pick up where i left off 15yrs ago. there is only so many times you can re-watch star trek/wars and others. to be fair netflix is... limited. im keen to learn and get back upto date. as you can see from my profile my rig is in tech terms... ancient. tech has come a long way since it was built and im... well... as painful as this is to admit a little behind the times and its kind of overwhelming at times, so to that end i figured i have the time, plenty of it so lets get started again. so far i have LTT, Short circuit and tech quickie, ( please dont suggest techlinked, really cant stand riley) i also started watching serve the home and gamers nexus but i feel more is needed, bit more depth. LTT vids seem to skim the surface but some more meaty vids would be great too. ok those would have a somewhat limited audience but would none the less be very interesting. if its tech based or even some other fields im game Servers,encryption, security systems, oh Ubiquity...Wifi audio/visual, basic coding, hardware, motherboards ( those things can be confusing as hell, for instance go to the ASUS ROG site for motherboards, theres loads of them! which is the best etc?) AI, cybernetics would be cool ETC that block chain thing... you get the point hahaha, basically im feeling a but lost in it all right now, like if one of you smarted tech bros & sisters was taken to the future. I still use PIA vpn, although admitedly i dont fully understand all of its functions however, I've had no real issues with it. cusomer service has been great, fast and helpful, and it does what i need it to do. I have had a few issues with updating it but thats where the CS agents come into it and sorted it. I like pia will still use it until the sub runs out not sure if will resub as im so tired of subs on subs, see how it goes.

Hi all, just a quick thought, with with everything Yvonne does back of house like the hero and boss that she is! can we get firstly an Yvonne appreciation video? and secondly can we get more Yvonne in the videos? she always brings something different to them and its nice to see her in them. she's a non techie right? so that point of view would be interesting to see more of, as she learns more and more. of course this is all due to her available time and work constraints etc but yeah, at very least an yvonne appreciation video. Maybe it could be the start of an Unsung heros of LMG/LTT series. Cheers for reading.

I've been thinking about this over the last few days as I was turning off cortana and telemetry/metrics in windows 10 on my work laptop and was wondering if and how much telemetry/metric gathering and cortana will be in windows 11 and will it be able to be disabled completely? Also what is the difference between a local account and logging into your Hotmail account? The get even more out of windows thing? Oh and edge, is it worth using? Cheers all

hi all, hope you are well. i have a question, i gen do not know the answer to thought id start here. why are microchips/processors etc printed on circular plates instead of square ones? surely they can get more onto a square or rectangular plate, lots of wasted space on a circle it seems. thanks
