  1. Okay so i realize i am extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to listen to these extraordinary headphones, no they are not mine and i doubt i will ever have this opportunity again but i got about an hour to listen to them and... i took some pictures:P let's get this out of the way first, they are nothing less than amazing, everything about them has this feel to it that when they made it they didn't care at all about how much they cost, if it will make it sound better then do it, it doesn't matter. i listened to just about every genre that i had access to to try and get a bigger feel for how they sound, i had some flac files of lana del rays honeymoon album as well as ed Sheeran's X album and some other miscellaneous dubstep, rock, pop in relativly high quality mp3s In lana del rays Freak i shivers went through my spine, i have a pair of hd250s as my daily drivers and have listened to the hd 800 700 and 650 so i have a faily good baseline of how these files should sound with good headphones but these were on a completely different level of sound, when i first listened to the hd800 i listened to a classical song and you could pick up everything, im sure i could even here the composer flipping the pages of the song, but when i listened to the HE1 i almost started crying, strange i know but they just have this effect on you that i wasnt ready for, the bass was tight and punchy, the highs were clear and crisp and mids were perfect, i couldn't find any fault with them, the sound stage felt i was listening to everything live and i don't think anything could ever top them on how a pair off headphones made me feel, there is no other word other than amazing, you cannot compare them to anything else, except maybe the original Orpheus, which i unfortunately have never had the opportunity to listen to now on to show they fell, i will add some pictures here to show what i am talking about. now they are not light headphones, they are actually VERY heavy compared to the hd800, but they feel perfect on your head, like they were made just for you here is the mandatory selfie i had to take while wearing them, if i look happy, its because i was but i did notice that if you move your head fast they do tend to wobble a bit, which actually caused my glasses to slip down my nose because of how snug they are against your head the feel of them is perfect, from the beautifully machined aluminium around the ear muffs to the honeycomb mesh on the side that shows through to the electrostatic driver inside and then there is the base, the solid F**king marble that is machines out to hold the tubes and the rest of the circuitry and god do those tubes look sexy but its the little things that took it over the top, i noticed that from where i was sitting, just to the left of the base, you could see the logo on each tube perfectly pointing towards you to the very nice feeling braided cable going to each of the headphones to the fact that when you turn it on(something i did more than necessary to see the action of it opening up) the volume dial moves itself back to the exact position it was before you turned it off also a better look at the marble base i could go on for a while about these but ill leave it at this, they are perfect, but i surprisingly when i had to leave i didn't feel as sad as i thought i would have been, i love them, but the price lingered in the back of my head every second i looked at them and i never felt like i wanted them, i mean roughly $55000 is ludicrous for headphones, but they do feel worth it, id almost feel bad if i didn't pay that much, which is very strange, so i never really though that i wanted them, i just enjoyed the time i had with them, and then accepted that i had to leave them
  2. my favorite thing is the power supply, i have been looking around and will probably buy one of the antec ones regardless if i win or not
  3. I found LTT when it was just linus with a crappy hand cam and have been watching ever since, you are the reason I got into technology and it is my complete passion now, your videos are fun, educational, inspiring and just in general awesome, I have seen your channel grow into what it is now and it is amaizing what you have accomplished in a couple of years, keep on growing and never stop.
  4. I have recently purchased a silverstone tj07 but it is the newer version with the back plate cut out, I have not received it yet but does anyone know besides the back plate, are there any changes to the way it's built, is it still only screws and no rivets or any other changes
  5. this looks awesome, my favorite part of the phone is the screen and dbrand has some epic skins
  6. this looks awesome, my favorite part of the phone is the screen and dbrand has some epic skins
  7. my favorite thing is the looks of the thing, it looks a lot more tuned down that their flagship models which still look good but will get you odd looks from anyone who doesn't know about asus, its a good middle ground
  8. my favorite thing is the antennae on it for tv, you should have shown us that in the video, but it looked retro in when you showed it to us on the wan show a while ago
  9. i have an i5 3470 is there any real benefit to upgrading to the new cpus other than a slightly lower temps and sata express
  10. it would probably be easier to say the things i don't like about it but if i had to choose my favorite thing about the whole phone i would have to say the micro SD slot
  11. I want to watercool my pc and I want to know if the gigabyte gtx 760 rev 2 has a reference backplate or not Thanks
  12. ok so i have 4x4tb drives and one of them is not working so for now i want to use the 3 that are with a 3tb drive in raid 5 now and replace it later with a new functioning drive, when i replace the drive do i need to create a new raid volume to accept the new drive or can i just replace it, i am using freenas
  13. Ok so I have an old asus striker extreme and core 2 extreme qx6700 and they don't want to work, I don't know if its something in the bios but if there is no hard drive then I can get to the post screen but it never does anything past that and I can't get into the bios, if there is a hard drive installed then I don't even get into the post screen. I have not tried to update the bios at all since I got it so I'm sure it's not bricked. I just want to know if anyone has had these problems with similar hardware before and weather or not I should give up on it or if there is some way I can get it working
