  1. I saw a thread of someone else having the same problem and they where told to plug there Media usb into there old pc and run setup.exe i went to do that but with my laptop but it looks like the new windows 10 install will just end up being installed on m latop
  2. no, this is it trying to boot from the old HDD. Should i have it plugged in?
  3. Then i takes me too this screen and i choose continue to windows 10 but then it brings me back to the first screen. It just keeps looping

  5. The best method is to back up your drive and do a clean reinstall. ill try to get the existing install working and see what happens
  6. I built a new custom pc and im keeping the old HDD that has windows 10. I took the HDD from my old pc and put it the new and now im trying to install a new oem key of windows 10 via usb. Will doing a custom install wipe everything off my old HDD? because i dont want to lose anything
  7. I was trying to install windows 10 from a usb but after putting in my key and stuff i got this popup "Compatibility report: The computer started using the windows installation media. Remove the installation media and restart your computer so that windows starts normally. Then, insert the installation media and restart the upgrade. (Do not select Icustom [advanced] to perform an upgrade Icustom [advanced] installs a new copy of windows and deletes your programs and settings.) " I'm not sure what to do here, any help would be great. thank you
  8. Google replace the GPU with a GTX 1060 3 gigabyte version rather than the 6 gigabyte version if they're not super into gaming and the cpu cooler is a bit over kill for a i3 6100. You could replace thatt with Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo.
  9. So i just need to uninstall windows before connecting it up to my new pc. Then i can install the new windows?
  10. I'm moving my hard drive to my new build which will have a different copy of windows 10. Will I have to will I have to uninstall Windows 10 from old hard drive in order to install the new version of Windows 10 on the same hard drive? Any feed back will help
  11. I'm building my first pc this christmas and was wondering if plugging my 600w power supply would cause any problems such as an insufficient amount of power going to the PC. Thanks for any feedback or reponse
  12. What setup setup perform better assuming everything else in the system was the same. Zotac gtx 1060 intel i5 4460 or asus gtx 970 intel i5 6500.
  13. I want to upgrade my PC, which is a HP Pavilion 500-326na, with a new gtx 970 and a EVGA 600w power supply. I'm not sure if all my parts are compatible and I'm wondering if this is possible. Thanks in advance for any help
