AIO mods? replacing radiator on AIO coolers
crooked windows replied to kamjakevin's topic in Custom Loop and Exotic Cooling
If you have built your own PC and are reading this, "Just Do It" lol it's easier than watching Linus wearing sandals. I've taken a CM Seidon and added a EKWB 420. tip: when adding anti freeze, heat it to about 60 degrees before funneling it into the rad as this reduces bubbles from clinging to the inside tubes. Also add a clear plastic or glass top up T at highest part of loop (upside down T , it's not on a QWERTY KB) so any air bubbles will eventually go into this and from time to time you can take the cap off and check / top it up. It will never leak if it is carefully done. -
Thanks fishboy1996 you saved me from shooting it. 2022 and I had the exact same problem. Had to send this stupid Mother Board 4322 km TWICE to be fixed and it came back the 2nd time saying Tested OK, installed and error 02 popped into the Q code Nearly reached for a sledge hammer by this time. I found this thread and now it is OK. All for a stupid 4K Display Port cable 404. You would think ASUS knew by now about this. thanks again fishboy1996 can't thank you enough.

R.I.P. pcpartpicker price drops
crooked windows replied to crooked windows's topic in General Discussion
context ? Rescue it? well to hopefully get those using it / concerned it's gone suggest a good solution, maybe rescue it MayBe LTT could take IT over. (pun intended) (IT thing? the I T department t o take IT over?) I miss that part of pcpartpicker, " price drops " in the email more than than most emails. but this doesn't concern any one that's not building or dropped gum. have a god day moderator -
Will there be a life line thrown or is it too late and will any body miss it?

I've used 2x coolermastr ATX 24 pin 90* Adapters for the last 4 builds. and to make it look cooler stick a blank over the join to hide the fact use used 2 adapters. Cheaper than buying modded cables
-
Thanks, I'll give that a try. I need to rewire all fans with wire thats less stiff than fencing wire and get 3 pin plugs opposed to the hack I previously did and do a job on cable management cos ya can't hide an ant in it but shipping time is >6 weeks if the M.2 I ordered is to go by so I have some time.

Q1. Will a dedicated fan controller eg.5.25" font panel Lamptron FC Touch, control 2 pin fans? NOT 3 pin (like the norm now a days) Q2 Can 2 wired fan motors be replanted with 3 or 4 wired motors - as this will reuse my old UV reactive vans. Q3 would a fan hub splitter work? NB these are 80 mm fans which are super hard to find where I live (most sellers won't post here) while paying 3x the norn. and if I did they would be as beautiful as Noctuas. I don't wish to plug fans in motherboard and run them at 100% or using plugged in resistors rebuild NIGHTmare started with an: ATX UV reactive acrylic case . . . KEEPING Gigabyte Athlon 64 dead rear IO . . replaced with MSI Motar Titanium B550 Zalman 450W silver braided cables . replaced with Corsair 650 RGB white to colour match lol (cable all wrong on Zalman) ???????? RAM . . . . . . . . . replace with 3200MHz Ballistic sport ATHLON 64 . . . . . . . . . . replaced with AMD 5 3200M Winamp . . . . . . . . . . . . replaced with Winamp

@ 10:45 when Linus makes a reminder on his phone, it activated mine too . So if he wants, I can remind him too just incase he looses his phone or something. I've got him covered, along with a few thousand other probably.

for those that don't know Daniel, (rctestflight) he's just as innovative as Linus if not more
-
RED 8K Camera + Huge R/C Cargo Plane #Linus never did this why? Maybe Daniel has more money than Linus, anyway it's worth watching

I tried the Razer Nostromo for playing Portal and Skyrim and never touched the keyboard after that except for the odd key I hadn't mapped. Since then I bought the Orbweaver which is on my gaming rig, noiser, just a green backlight and lacks the scroll wheel so I'm looking for another Nostromo if I can find one. Yeah you have to learn a new trick but its like SSD vs HDD, once tried, never go back. Starting up my old notebook with spinning rust, I honestly thought it had broken it was so slow lol,
-
Stigma maybe, I will try my partners when she get it and see, I have one of the old MS curved keyboards that came with the PC I bought and found I liked it more than my K70 I went back to. Maybe 1 gamer will be seen competing with one and BAM, it will start the craze. Give it a trigger, that would do lol.

Why haven't vertical mice taken off? not in the Linus way of thinking, straight up, the vertical gaming mouse? If they are so much better than using the bog standard flat down spread eagled pose , you never see vertical style gaming mice reviews or vertical gaming mice full stop. My partner had me research what I could find and they range from 30° from horizontal to near 90° . OK they look as quirky as Linus's pink Lambo but the sales bs is actually backed up by technical bs. Ergonomic Logitech MX Master, the hand-shoe-mouse, there's the Evoluent Vertical Mouse which like an earth quake hit and even holographic ones. All Ergonomic mouse reviews say that they solve fatigue and rsi from gaming problems. Maybe the Linus team could do a MASSIVE study of they all. Set the Linus Tech Team off on a week long gaming party to review them. Anyone use a mouse around the hand shake position here ?

KOVA . but anything would be an improvment over my present roadkill.

Phanteks Enthoo EVOLV - Oldschool Unboxing
crooked windows replied to nicklmg's topic in LTT Releases
All future case reviews should be done this way. AND I dare you to do one unveiling during a storm just to prove you haven't gone soft. Totally loved the review BTW Ps you need some sun lol
