Didn't know a simple Linus related joke between me and my girlfriend would result in praise from one of Lord Gaben's chosen disciples. This is the best day of my life. We called each other and freaked out for like 8 mins, and talked about what we should do next Eventually deciding that a 'ol Fav+retweet would be the best thing to do. Then i thought i would make a post in 'off-topic' for fun, hoping you guys would get a kick out of it. Let me know if this is inappropriate content for this board please.

I was going to get a another HDD to have my mass storage in RAID 1 and some point anyway, so that is a great option. thanks a lot roberto++ and Enderman. -

When i do a clean install of the OS to the new SDD, is there an elegant way to remove remnents of Windows off of my old drive? or just deleting things by hand the route people go? -
Right now i have a single 2TB mechanical HDD with all of my data and my OS (windows 7). When I get a SDD that i wish to use as a boot drive, how do i move only my OS to the new drive, and then turn my HDD into mass storage? I have found plenty of material online about simply cloning drives, but none that seem to cover what i want to do. I would think that what i am trying to do would be something that a lot of people whould want to do, so I am surprised i have not found more information on it. Or maybe I am just blind and/or dumb. Any push in the right direction would be great. Thanks all.

I don't even know what use type i want. all the research i do seems to assume knowledge of the reader and just throws a bunch of alphabet soup of channel types and speeds and what not at me. I guess i just havn't thrown mysefl at it hard enough. Basically i just want a Router that has an upgrade in terms of wireless range and signal strength at longer distances than my current router. I also want the ability to hard wire into it as well. interchangeable antennaes seem nice, cus experimenting with direction antennes seems like it could be effective. The main issue the people at the end of the house having really bad speeds. Price is *almost* not an issue cus everyone in the house is chipping in so most things will be affordable to the individual i think.

Linus said he as 2 of the access points he did the vid on in his outs. how would you go about making this work? do you need to have cable coming in from 2 spots in your house? im am kinda counfused.
