  1. I've been using the Lenovo Yoga 11e Chromebook for the last week or so and I've actually really liked it. It's fast enough for all browser based tasks and I like the touch screen and tablet modes. Battery life is a very consistent five hours and it charges in less than an hour from completely dead. It's a little pricey for a Chromebook but it's definitely a solid option that you might want to consider.
  2. I know I'm super late to this thread but it's also worth considering that for ~$800USD you can get a brand new 70D on eBay. Personally I would get the 70D over the T6s unless you really need the extra few megapixels.
  3. I wish it was that cool where I am at. Right now it's 26 for the low and 35 for the high.
  4. As winter arrives in the northern hemisphere, we should be able to increase our contributions thanks to the cooler weather. Hopefully we can keep rising through the ranks! Go LTT!
  5. I use a Lenovo P300 as my work computer and I've run in to the same issue. I have to connect both of my monitors to my K620 which only has two videos out so no third monitor. I think it's a bios setting you need to tweak as someone mentioned earlier in the thread. I'll see if I can boot to bios here and check the settings.
  6. I thought this video was really interesting. Would you see performance benefits if you followed this workflow but instead of 4K in and 4K out it was 1080p in and 1080p out? I sometimes edit on a computer that's a little on the older side and was wondering if I could make timeline navigation and general performance better by using Cineform and this workflow.
  7. That's a pretty good incentive right there. I might just have to have a go at it.
  8. The only time this would be good for gaming would be in a game like Civilization. The target audience for this monitor is professional users. I personally could make use of it in CAD applications where having the space to look at drawings or models would be very useful. Bezels are a bear when they interrupt text or dimensions.
  9. Yes. Make sure to get the right color and size though.
  10. I second this. They have some solid sound quality for the price but you need to get a set of Comply Foam Eartips for them to be at their best. Shouldn't cost you more than $40USD.
  11. As an owner and very frequent user of a pair of the aforementioned E10's, they are a really solid choice for the price point. Bonus that they are comfortable enough to wear for several hours at a time.
  12. Civ 3 is where it's at. So many thousands of hours spent on that game.
  13. Is that so? That seems like a poor decision on Autodesk's part as I know of several different large labs that are all running GeForce based workstations. I myself run it on Radeon though.
  14. Soundmagic E10's are fantastic. I own them and highly recommend them. I made a review on the forum here. I would like but I am on mobile at the moment.
  15. I personally have the SL1 and I have liked it thus far. The smaller size is kinda nice when shooting events or on the go travel while still retaining solid image quality and battery life. Another recommendation would be the T3i. My girlfriend has it and she's gotten some really good shots with it and likes the flip out screen. It's also a standard sized DSLR so better for larger hands.
