  1. @ChrisVadeboncoeur 1. It boils down to a couple factors. Distance from your router, interference from nearby 2.4 devices and number of devices connected. 300mbs is a theoretical speed. You will be hard pressed to ever see that. It's not an even split of bandwith because certain traffic takes up more proccessing resrouces, thereby taking away from other devices. It really will depend on the three variables I mentioned. 2. Correct. Any outbound/inbound traffic will be limited by the speed provided by your ISP. 3. Your router sends each packet one at a time. That means that the speed your router can do that will affect you more than the speed of the ISP.
  2. On water, my 2700x does about 30° C. I'd get drivers installed and check Ryzen Master. CPUID's HWMonitor also seems to work ok. Also check windows power settings to see what your power settings is at. Balanced is what is recommended by AMD. NOT AMD RYZEN BALANCED! Anytime something is overheating, make sure all cables are plugged in and fans are spinning. I know it seems stupid, but it happens.
  3. Niche yes. I’m not defending the choice for posting at midnight, I just know creators do that.
  4. You can set a video to publish automatically at a certain time and date. I like the idea for the generalized format.
  5. Yes, but it's a lot more inconvenient for creators. If you're video posts at midnight, would you be willing to send out the tweet notification?
  6. Original Article: https://9to5google.com/2019/01/10/youtube-twitter-sharing-tools/ Main Points: Blog Post from YouTube: https://support.google.com/youtube/thread/989408?hl=en "After January 31st, the ability to automatically post your YouTube Activity on Twitter and Google+ will no longer be available." "Automatic sharing to Twitter and Google+ via uploads or Creator Studio""You’ll also no longer see the option to automatically share your video on Google+ and Twitter via the upload flow in Creator Studio. " Notes from Article "YouTube doesn’t provide any reason for why this functionality is going away, interestingly. Unlike other recent feature removals which were taken out due to minimal usage, this one seems odd considering a huge number of creators still take advantage of the functionality." My Takeaway: The LTT Twitter account will be seeing a lot less activity. ? All seriousness, with the helpful information provided by Linus, it seems logical for this feature to be retired.
  7. @JalilC Could you elaborate more on battery drain?
  8. Suggestions 1. Try a different Ethernet cable. 2. Try a different ether port on modem/router/switch 3. Come back to me and we’ll try something else.
  9. Are you planning on buying all that from Newegg? I would suggest looking up the parts on a site like PC Part Picker to find better prices if they are available.
  10. Any aesthetics you’re looking for in particular(RGB, tempered glass, usb 3.1 type c header, etc)?
  11. I’m running at 240mm aio. At idle I hit 30 C and most I’ve ever seen at full load was 77 C.
  12. I know what you mean. I just built my new Ryzen system and as soon as I set out to build it, I ran to Best Buy to buy a Samsung 970 evo. So nice not having to take up any more SATA ports or run more wires in my case.
  13. @Pern-Frog I strongly disagreee with this is you are doing overclocking. Power limit on a 2700 is way lower than the 2700x. This would seriosuly limit overclocking potential. I have a 2700x and ROG Crosshair VI Hero and it works great at 4.2 with some cores turboing at 4.3. Like LTT pointed out in their recent build guide video, little to no benefit in the mainstream for NVME.
  14. @Johanes You wouldn't neccessarily need to remove the current boot drive, just manually select the install media from UEFI or on some UEFIs by pressing F8 key.
  15. These are the exact steps I used to fix this problem. Thanks to all who provided suggestions. 1. Format flash drive as FAT32 MBR. I called my ASUS. 2. Extract Latest BIOS to flash drive. For my board, it should be called "c6hwifi.cap" 3. Press and hold BIOS Flash Back button for 3 seconds. 4. Wait until BIOS Flash Back Button is no longer flashing blue and is not lit. I hope this helps anyone else out there with this problem. If there are any ASUS reps on the forum, please add this into the C6H WIFI manual please!
  16. I am using the correct USB port (the bottom). I went ahead and switched to a different flash drive and refromatted it. Trying a suggestion I found on redit for a name for the BIOS file.
  17. Hi all, I have an ASUS Crosshair VI Hero WiFi that I’m trying to use USB BIOS Flashback to update to bios version 6201, but it does not work. Trying to update to allow installation of my 2700x. Any tips?
  18. @sharedknowledge It’s looking fantastic! I know companies like Apple even have anodizing issues. My jet black iPhone 7 plus has quite a few scratches from just moving around in my case. I love your comment on the trash bins. I think you managed to avoid any confusion. ?
  19. TBH, I agree with you 100%. However, it should be noted that I don’t buy hardly anything unless it’s on sale. This applies in this situation. They should be paying me to buy it is how I look at it.
  20. Personally, I can pass on having the ability to make a pig react to my facial movements. ? I get iOS12 is a bug fix, the issue is it didn’t fix my bugs. Example: Watching floatplane videos in Safari, if I lock my phone, and come back, I have to reload the page in order to get playback. Not to mention floatplane doesn’t have resume where you left off yet. See, there’s a couple Craigslist postings for note 8 and I’ve seen some new deals on them lately. What were some of your reasons for going with the note 8?
  21. So Apple and I have hit a rough spot in our relationship, and I think it’s time we see other people. ? (Not willing to pay for a Xs Max even with sprints pretty good trade offer) Here is my current dilemma: My current daily driver is a iPhone 7 Plus 128gb on Sprint. I’ve been wanting to switch to Android for a while, and I think Oreo and pie have finally convinced me to abandon iOS’s craptastic quality. I haven’t enjoyed iOS since iOS 10. Samsung note 9 is very intruiging. I like some of the promotions that have been going on, and with the holidays coming up, I expect them to get even better. Now to the pixel owners: Pixel 3 will be announced tuesday. From all the leaks, I Think this could be the phone I’m looking for. Hopefully google doesn’t pull a fast one when it comes to price. I’m looking at the pixel 3xl. Long story short, Pixel users, what could you never live without, and what are your biggest gripes? Thanks
