  1. As title suggests am looking to upgrade stock cooler AMD Ryzen 3600 , more so for noise but also for cooling thinking either Noctua NH-D15s or nzxt kraken x62 280mm aio Either way I'll be getting some more case fans either route but just looking for input , thanks

  4. So my current set up is as follows: Intel core i3 530 (stock 2.93ghz o.c to 4.4ghz) Asusp7p55d mobo 120mm AIO h60 2x4gb ddr3 g.skill 1333mhz ram 650watt cooler master masterwatt palit gtx 1060 6gb intel 730 ssd 240gb Just use my 4Kready LG TV in my lounge I would like to do a major upgrade and would like some input on my parts list I have come up with / any input or items you'd choose differently please see screenshot/pics for list I'll be reusing my PSU and GPU and SSD just because I have them & the PSU and GPU really aren't all that old either I'd say in the last 12-18 months they were purchased
  5. Well I had it booted and had it sat in the bios of the system and it still done it . . . twice in a row . . . Think I've fried it , like well and truly fried that poor old little GPU oh well on to bigger and better things I guese
  6. Could I load Ubuntu onto it and change the GPU bios that way then boot bk into windows
  7. Yeh , no it's just locking up and black screen / GPU fan ramp up , it's like afterburner has altered the GPU bios , how would I access that to be able to bring it bk down again
  8. So it will boot into safe mode for all of maybe 20-30 sec's and then complete black screen GPU fan ramps up to 100% and and to hard reset . . . Think I've fried the GPU
  9. I don't have onboard graphics on with mobo and I don't have another graphics card to hand at the moment to test with
  10. So I have a xfx 6850 and a i3 530@stable 4.2 GHz daily CPU not the issue I dug this old system old the shed litterly out the shed as well I may add , any way CPU running fine n dandy till I started OC'ing the GPU via afterburner bumped the core clock up a bit too much and fan speed at 100% now every time I boot the system i can get into the bios breifly then complete black screen , managed to get the bios bk to stock so ram and CPU etc are all stock speeds but every time I fire up the machine it starts to load windows GPU fan comes on 100% and bam black screen GPU just seems to stop working is there a way to reverse the GPU overclock somehow ?
  11. Seriously need a new gpu got a 5770 . . . Plus need better psu Keep up good work
