my CPU is a crappy FX6300 for now, plan is i5 6500 next month I don't actually use both too multitask, just the TV when streaming films/TV with the Mrs

Evening all I was wondering, I have my PC next to my TV so use my monitor for games, but stream films onto my TV. When I do the latter I set the TV as the only display, is there any disadvantage/additional ware displaying on two screens for my GPU? Is my gut telling me to do the right thing? Does it matter? Thank you
