  1. another for going AMD rather than an i5 to begin with
  2. that is really close, maybe I'd end up skylake anyway, just be able to get them a bit cheaper as the newer chips come out
  3. Any ideas when Zen and Kaby are coming? I'm in a similar but worse position of an FX6300 and was going to go for i5 6500 next month, but now you've got me worried
  4. my CPU is a crappy FX6300 for now, plan is i5 6500 next month I don't actually use both too multitask, just the TV when streaming films/TV with the Mrs
  5. Evening all I was wondering, I have my PC next to my TV so use my monitor for games, but stream films onto my TV. When I do the latter I set the TV as the only display, is there any disadvantage/additional ware displaying on two screens for my GPU? Is my gut telling me to do the right thing? Does it matter? Thank you
  6. I'm sure this gets asked a hundred times so I apologies, but if I'm going i5 6500 or 6600 with no OC, I'm right in thinking there is no need for a 'z' board and a 'h' will do? if so https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/DGcMnQ/msi-motherboard-h170agamingpro or https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/dk648d/asus-motherboard-h170progaming similar price, similar stats, does it just come down too which I think looks better? I think Asus is a more reliable brand but I think the 'pro gaming' text looks a bit tacky and with the MSI, surely with more LED's it'll go faster?
  7. a cheap and nasty bundle of headset, mouse and keyboard bought when I first got my system as I wanted to put the moeny into the tower rather than the peripherals
  8. cheers, it was just so i had a ballpark figure I could plan with, I wasn't expecting it to be worth a lot
  9. I'm at work and ebay is blocked, was trying to day dream away and wondered if there was a rough guide of say %50 of new price and so on
  10. sorry about that http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/4CvTBP
  11. So I'm looking at moving from AMD to intel so will have a mobo, cpu and ram to sell Do people just stick them up on ebay and see what they get offered or is there a way of spit balling value? also, as I'm new here I'm not sure if it is OK to talk about pricings, I know some forums don't like it this is what I have to sell https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/ thank you
