  1. Do whatever is best for you. Gaming laptops get too much bad rep (if it's not a rather cheap one).
  2. He may want to game on the go and what not. I think he's fine with getting a laptop like that if its the situation he's in.
  3. Hang it on the wall? I mean, a GT 210 is pretty useless nowadays. Or you could donate it to an organization of some sort that builds computers for poor people.
  4. Are you a secret market insider, probably not. Just update the list as time goes on. The 750ti was king of low teir gpus, but the Rx 460/gtx 1050 came out and made that obsolete at that price range. Things change. You'll save yourself the trouble of upgrading your build down the road then, and you'll be able to play games with the best dollar/performance ratio.
  5. How are you getting money, You could shorten that time period a lot by mowing lawns, getting a job, etc
  6. Anthing could change. Intel or AMD could release the best bugdet Processor yet in the future, or maybe the best storage option ever would arise. Keep an open mind, as you never know.
  7. Yes, but I would worry about the parts you are going to get when you get to the point of being done saving money. The market would be vastly different from now. You'll save more bucks to performace getting something that is current then
  8. Stock is fine, trust me. I got a stock cooler on my build and it never hits 60
  9. Try testing the game files in the settings for a game. Could solve your issue. Or reinstall the game and reset the graphics settings
  10. The one with the i5-7400 is your best bet. Minecraft in my past experiences when I played the game tends to be a bit more Cpu heavy. Also with a new processor, you would only need to upgrade your graphics card if you wanted to get more performance. And anyways, Minecraft isn't the most demanding game ever.
  11. What if I don't care? All I want is a boost in frames, and anyways I spend my money on virtual hats anyways.
