  1. They probably would but the market share is so low that it probably use resources that could be better applied else where. The spokeperson in the video said it will be a challenge alone to even get it on Windows 7. I generally believe that Vista was such a big flop at launch that by the time they fixed most of the major issues service pack 1 but nobody listened or cared because everyone already hated it to much. Kinda of like Windows 8. Even if they completely change the UI and made changes that it made it the best thing ever, it still has one huge disadvantage. The name. It's going to stick until Windows 9 comes out as the "new and improved Windows" when in reality, it's just a big update to Windows 8.1.
  2. Source Video: http://channel9.msdn.com/Events/Build/2014/9-004 "Windows Graphics and DirectX 12" panel at BUILD Sorry Netbook users but it looks like the only version that isn't supported is Starter. In summary, they had a spokesperson from Microsoft answer questions about DX12 and the first one that was asked was how far back DirectX 12 would be supported. He answered that they wanted to support the largest install base possible, so Windows 7 was the most logical step, due to all the people migrating from XP to 7. This is fantastic news and one of the many great steps Microsoft has been making to become a better company due to the death of the 'Strategy Tax'. Satya Nadella has been making been making some amazing progress as Master Chief Executive Officer (Get it? ) and IMO, the future of Microsoft is going in a much better direction. 3. Everyone with an SSD right now.
  4. Where do you normally put a liquid cooler that is two fans in size? Like on the side, top or bottom?
  5. I'm currently refreshing part of my build and plan on getting the Rosewill Thor V2 for a case. I’d prefer the Glacer 240L so that when Maxwell launches I’ll be able to liquid cool my new GPU alongside my CPU with no headaches of a custom loop but I’m not sure that it would fit. Would either of these coolers work/fit in this case or is there a better case with a similar size and design. I’m mainly going for quietness but also decent overclocking. Also, where would I mount the radiator/pump, top, side or bottom? I’ve never done liquid cooling before so I’m inexperienced when it comes to these kinds of things. Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.
  6. This isn't sarcasm, Major Nelson and Phil Spencer both tweeted Shu Yoshida and congratulated him on the launch. The companies who make the consoles aren't immature fan-boys like the people who buy them. https://twitter.com/yosp/status/401213227545415680
  7. Did no one actually look at the article? It's priced at $399 USD, not $499 USD.
