    Cleaning you mousepad?

I tend to just get my mousepads damp with water, get some dish soap on 'em and scrub it, and then scrub the soap back out after a little bit of sitting with a lighter water flow.

    What is that?

My eyes lead me to believe it's an LGA 775 Pentium 4 clocked at 3.4GHz, with further eyeing and a bit of finger input telling me it supports hyper-threading.

    P300 to motherboard

Considering on the product page it lists compatibility with the "big 3" (Asus Aura, MSI Mystic Light, and Gigabyte RGB Fusion), I would dare say that you can plug it into the board. On your board there's RGB headers in the bottom left, and the case should have an RGB lead that would match up to one of them.

Help me to resist urge to buy this ridiculous thing

    Buy it. I dare you.

    Is 30 degrees too hot

For idle its more than fine, as long as all cores are reasonably close to each other. What really matters is that they're not idiotically high (like 65-70) idling, and that they're under 90 under load.
  6. Well below your budget, but I've been plenty happy with my Arctis 7. Changing the mic settings from whatever the hell default was to DVD quality helped a hell of a lot with quality (obviously still not close to a dedicated mic but its plenty acceptable for Discord or in-game voice).
  7. If my dead brain read it right, that would indeed be the answer (unless you find some decent ethernet dongles that do the trick).
  8. Believe this thread will cover your question. https://superuser.com/questions/1215710/is-it-possible-to-connect-two-pcs-via-usb-c

My MacBook Pro 15" Late 2011 Review - This is a weird one

To be fair, you should be able to "Hackintosh" it to get Mojave on it. If this old boi can do it, by all means you should be able to.

What are your must have PC accessories?

Gotta have my TP-Link 7+2 USB hub. PC is in an inconvenient spot to plug shit into the back 3.0 ports, and I don't much care for scratching up the face of it missing the ports. And the pair of 2.4A charging ports are really damned handy. Aside from that probably my headset's receiver dealio, since that's my only audio interface (though I can plug my headset into any 3.5mm jack tbf).

Will this power supply fit this micro atx case

Considering the OP linked a PSU costing less than half that, I would dare say it's too much.

Will this power supply fit this micro atx case

It can, but I super wouldn't recommend it. You can do so much better for the money...

is mechanical keyboard better than membrane?

Up to personal preference really. Some people prefer mech, some people prefer membrane, and some people don't care. I'd just suggest setting a budget aside for a keyboard and seeing what you want, and if you have any brick and mortar stores around you with demo units, going in and trying those out.
  14. You have shown in this thread on so many occasions that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about that it's becoming painful. Nice.

Products you love an never want to get rid of.

Oh boy, what a list this'll be... 360 Elite Falcon Presario 2286 + original 4GB Seagate ProSignia 165 GTX 480 engineering sample Supermicro P3TDDE Z97X-Gaming 5 + G3258 (parts I bought for my first actually-decent PC) OptiPlex 170L (and my 7010 tbh) Voodoo 3 3000 AGP Sharp "laptop" my grandpa gave me that I can't remember the model of to save my life

    Show off your latest purchase!

Step one to my heart: dual socket. Step two to my heart: dual video cards in a dual socket board.
  17. Can confirm, I had an OptiPlex 760 that didn't support quads, but there was a very slightly different board revision that did.

    Gaming screenshots

That ironic moment when the flathead sounds like the Coyote but the actual Coyote does not.
  19. As long as both CPUs aren't notably different (like an i5 2400 vs an i7 4790 or something), I would absolutely pick the 1060 combo.

Show off your old and retro computer parts

Hell yeah, those cases make for great sleepers. Swap out the power LED for a red one and put some red LEDs to make the optical drive shit light up and bam.

Post Your Battle Stations and Build Setups!

Incredible that I live in a dusty environment, have no filters in my case, have a cat, AND it lives on the ground and I only have to clean it once a season.

Oh boy the S4 Mini. If I had a medical condition of money falling out my ass (and didn't hate power bricks) I would absolutely get one of those babes.

Yes, because the Node 202 is totally limited to shitty cards.

I'm still pretty committed to the SFF life, but I'm absolutely not committing to half-height again (though I didn't really have much of a choice since this route was by far the cheapest since I would have had to upgrade from the G3258 in my then-daily). Next step will be a Node 202 balled out with SSDs though. If I ever get money, aka probably never.
