    Cool giveaway. Favorite item i have to say is the Antec KUHLER 1250. Why you say? Well it can keep my CPU temp resonably low on my 24/7 PC that generates a lot of noice now. BTW can you fix thread text so us black theme users can see it without having to higlight it. Thaks.

    What do i like about it? hm... It is a better GFX card that i currently have. The fact that it is resonably better overclocable doesn't hurt.

    Today i opened my mail to find the following fake message and was wandering if anyone else got it. And also to point out to LTT managemet that the associated youtube channel is violating youtube TOS by imperciating your channel (you should do something about it).

    I like the 1080 IPS display, not sure about the aluminium though it could be the best thing ever or the worst depending on the build quality and heat dissipating capability of its fan. I don't like it when a laptop heats up where i rest my hand to write after few hours of use or after few min when performing taxing jobs.

    I find that sometimes speedtest shows lower score than you are actually getting. Try downloading large multiple files directly from msdn or other similar sites using IDM or some other download manager.     It's definitely the network card of your laptop if all other parts in the chain support it.

    Cool giveaway. For me what i like about the phone is the phone itself Seriously the 1440p 5.5 in display is freaking great. Do all apps look amazing on it? Maybe not but who gives a dam its a G3.

    Your right but what i wanted to say was their are other things they can do to improve video quality @ 1080p even for those capable of streaming 4K and if it comes to it, it is better they improve their video content quality instead of bumping up resolution. If they can do both i am all for it (i will be streaming 4k in nex few years and it would be good if i can search for content and stream it in 4K).What it comes down to what LMG priorities are to improve video quality.

    I believe they are already recording a better quality 1080p using their 4K camera. I am capable of streaming 4K but i will not watch a video in 4K anytime soon. As a person who lives in a developing country i can tell you most people can't afford or don't have access to internet speed that can handle 1080p never mind 4K. And the developed country have data caps that i can only express as insane bordering on criminal. Even streaming 1080p most people will hit their cap in 2 weeks if they are frequent content consumers. I watch each and every video the linustech team puts up on their channel. I never watch their videos on more than 720p because i don't see a reason for it when i mostly watch their videos in windowed mode when i am working on something else (does not include WAN which i watch full screen 1080p in bed ). What i am trying to say, i guess is that currently the need for 4K is not enough to warrant an upgrade, i believe their is other things they can spend the production cost on to improve their video quality other than bumping up resolution.

    I do not have any 4K Monitor and even if i did i don't think 4K is necessary for personal consumption of videos (1080 is enough). Personally, at this time 4K for videos reviews is a wastage of bandwidth since 1080 has enough quality and is just the right resolution that most people do not need to have their eye's an inch away from the monitor to read text (i.e. without using any scaling or anything like that).

    Ye it is, i have not used it for over a year but i believe you are able record offline. And you can set it up to the setting you want with your webcam/(other video capturing device) video included so their is no need for you to add it afterwards (i.e If your recording camera includes an output you can plug in to your PC). But it depends on what you want and what you have available. You said SD card so i recommend you use Camtasia. I mentioned XSplit as an option for you if your camera can be directly connected to your PC.

    Camtasia does not capture game video. You need to use FRAPS for that. I personally use it and i strongly recommend you use it. It has a huge file size when compare to Camtasia though. XSplit is another option you might want to try.

    I choose those names b/c most beginners will recognize them and intermediates will know what I mean. And I said programming only because I did not want to post an explanation about what scripting and programing languages are and how they are classified as such in the thread (for the newbies). I specifically choose MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server instead of SQL only b/c there are people that want a specific tutorial for them instead of a tutorial on SQL Syntax only. I have updated the poll to include the language i know with few omissions.

    I have been thinking about making a tutorial for beginners for some time but never had the time. Now that I have some free time, I decided to begin now. I am hoping to start two series. The first series is a beginners/intermediates tutorial while the second series is a user’s choice tutorial where users PM me a topic title they want me to create a tutorial for and after a vote I will create a tutorial showing how to code the choice with the most vote. The topic titles can be in the form “how to make a calculator in VB”, “how to make a Point of Sale website” or something along those lines. I will also be answering any question that any users might have in text or video form depending on the question that the users ask. I hope you will give me feedback by replying. The feedbacks can be about improvement that can be made to my idea and/or any other feedback you might have. NOTE: This is just a thread to see what the user feedback is. Do not send me a topic title for the second series before I update this thread or create a new one. Edit: Updated poll to include more options.
