Fdebijl's Achievements

  1. I've had the Nexus 5 for a while now and honestly, for only 100 dollars more, the Axon 7 has everything that I'm missing in my Nexus 5: dual sims, expendable storage, better battery, fingerprint scanner and a great camera.
  2. This is an AIO cooler: and for reference, this is what my custom loop looks like: The custom loop looks arguably better, but requires a lot more money and a lot more time and patience. I'd highly recommend getting an AIO cooler, as doing a custom loop in a Mini ITX or Micro ATX case would be very complicated.
  3. When first filling a liquid-cooled loop, especially custom ones, it's advised to have it run for 24 hours on a separate power supply, with lots of paper towels in the case to detect any leaks. You'll probably want to avoid using the computer during this time, as leaks don't mix very well with live electronics. If you're using an AIO cooler you wont need to do this test for the full duration, but I would advice running it for a few minutes under close supervision to check for leaks, albeit they are very unlikely.
  4. I've got my JBL E50bt, with a Logitech G500s on the side which scoots over a Steelseries Qck+ mousepad, and an abysmal 10 euro 'gaming' keyboard. If only I had the Autore ;_;
  5. Your 1080 doesn't have a price listed on PCpartpicker, so it's over 1700.
  6. My shot at this, just like seemingly everyone else in this thread it's a black and white theme, which coincidentally is also the theme for the PC I'm actually building atm. Check out the pcpartpicker list: http://pcpartpicker.com/list/RBbhgL CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($237.89 @ B&H) CPU Cooler: CRYORIG H7 49.0 CFM CPU Cooler ($49.98 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: MSI Z170A KRAIT GAMING 3X ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($147.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($73.99 @ Newegg) SSD Storage: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive ($97.99 @ Adorama) HDD Storage: Western Digital Blue 2TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive ($69.98 @ OutletPC) Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card ($429.99 @ SuperBiiz) Case: NZXT S340 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case ($59.99 @ Newegg) Power Supply: Corsair RMx 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($79.00 @ Newegg) Monitor: Asus VG248QE 24.0" 144Hz Monitor ($249.99 @ Best Buy) Keyboard: Corsair STRAFE RGB Wired Gaming Keyboard ($119.99 @ Best Buy) Mouse: Logitech G502 Wired Optical Mouse ($59.99 @ Best Buy) Total: $1676.77 If I had more budget I'd go for 32GB RAM to fill out all four slots on the mobo for aesthetics, and switch out the 850 EVO for the 950 Pro so you dont have that hideous green PCB. I've found that 2TB is the lowest capacity HDD I'll put in my builds nowadays, simply because my Steam library has gotten so huge that I cant cram it all on a 1TB disk anymore.
  7. My R9 280x sets itself on fire when I try to overclock it after I poured tea all over it, so I'm definitely looking for a replacement someday soon. So why not a new Polaris card?
  8. I've been looking for a projector that would fit my small upstairs home cinema/gaming setup, and this one would be perfect! The sleek design and extremely short minimal projection distance (while still maintaining a huge surface projection area) is just the thing I'd need in my room here
