  1. try disabling fast startup, i always have this disabled when i need to reformat my OS and need to reset all my custom settings. I never had an issue but i never noticed it because i always have it disabled You using antivirus software or just the prebuilt windows defender? Make sure to install amd chipset drivers from amd's site and change power plan to "Ryzen balanced or Ryzen High Performance", the Ryzen HP is better than the Windows Ultimate Performance that you'd use for Intel systems. Was this error recent due to a change in hardware or a new build or something? My issue was because it was a new build and i never tweaked the settings. At first 3 months ago i thought the reason i was getting this issue was because of a faulty PSU or something. Mind you its brand new components lol. Which didn't make much sense but can happen with new hardware sometimes, also was worried because i torqued the CPU brackets too tight possibly causing CPU to maybe be damaged maybe possibly causing that error which also was not the reason. Anyways i undid torque on the bracket and retorqued and i still feel might be a bit too tight but its fine lol. i use a CM hyper 212 evo black edition. https://blog.pcrisk.com/windows/12891-how-to-fix-kernel-power-error https://windowsreport.com/kernel-power-41-error-windows-10/
  2. Try this: im Limeay on THW too. I had this issue with my newly built pc with stock settings except D.O.H.C for ram to 3600mhz and changed FCLK to 1800MHZ and this happens. There's no such thing as XMP in AMD systems, only D.O.C.P. After doing everything i possibly could do i tried disabling C-States and it never came back up. https://forums.tomshardware.com/threads/kernel-power-41-after-installing-new-ryzen-9-3900x-b550-board.3640195/page-2#post-22094104
  3. Okay, i made two replies because i didn't feel like my replies got through, one email and one forum based. You guys have Cross shipping? I thought it was diagnose whether psu was faulty, then send a new psu,
  4. Not a clue, hes literally not replied so far and typically I've contacted him like 5-8 times since rma started... but no reply since I've gotten the psu and more downtime. Re looking at my email I think every 2 days in between is a must before seasonic maybe will acknowledge or look at emails. Still worried whether pinouts for mobo are different but since they just plug in no sweat I think they have that covered.
  5. Hi everyone, i RMA'd my SeaSonic X 850 80+ Gold psu last 11/5/2018, got SeaSonic Platnium 860 80+ Platnium psu back, funny though... SeaSonic has guys that since they don't do their own testing and have others do it. The guys took 3 days from last wednesday they received my psu and thursdays they tested it till monday, saturday they're off apparently. This tuesday, 11/17/2018, got a shipping and on seasonic's rma they said its still testing the psu while shipping? that was funny, right now i've checked it and it still says that but back to what had happened, they told me they shipped the same psu back apparently and by friday, which was yesterday i got a different psu with only the motherboard connectors only fit from my previous cables from the X series PSUs. I then thought, hmm... thats strange, tried to hook up my CPU cables and they don't fit, its like a 8 pin for my CPU cables and my PCIE cables are 12 pins... I first noticed, why wasn't my CPU cable going in, and figured there the holes are square rather than a close to circular shape with 5 sides and two of the top left pins do not have space between so the cable cannot be used. I'm wondering how can SeaSonic's end have something like this happen. I really doubt this is the first time this has happened but i'm ticked off and probably wait 2 weeks for psu and cables total possibly. Anyone go through something like this before, i've sent seasonic an email and they typically message back regardless weekend or weekday 24/7 but so far haven't heard a peep since i first sent in email 6 hrs ago. I hope they send me PCIE & CPU cables, i think the sata/ide/peripheral cables & mobo cables are same as my last psu though and thats all. I have one extra connection on the back of this psu on the right hand side that i didn't have before labeled "PCIE/CPU". Waiting for SeaSonic to reply and half a day of no replies from them at the moment. To pay for two or three extra cables is too steep as that'll end up being probably $25-$60 depending on each cable from ensourced or cable mods and who knows how long that'll take and how long this supposed psu is supposed to last after being refurbed. If nothing is done about this, tempted on buying custom cables or buying a evga g3 850/1000 /p2 850? Benefits of EVGA: EVGA has cross shipping (less down time) Psus made typically by superflower, seasonic, or FSP
  6. I really think they need to update the firmware as I believe that's the problem on this thing.
  7. Hi, I hope you're still active as the fix to this is to reset the monitor settings with restore factory settings and it'll go away I guarantee it. Literally replaced my dvi to hdmi for a hdmi standalone and did nothing. Ticked me off to find out it wasn't my video card so I guess that's good to know. My mx239h had this since I bought it.
  8. I don't see a listing on the evga b1 psus. Would that be ranked tier 1 or tier 2?
  9. I'm not trying to substitute anything, I'm just implying on placing thermal compound paste + thermal pads and hoping to achieve better temps than just alone the pads itself and i was hoping if anyone ever tried and experimented this and what was their conclusion. I've already read all the post above, it seems iffy but i would go with only placing pads on the notebook GPU. I have a graphics card and was hoping to liquid cool soon, and EK recommends placing it on the VRM's/MOSFET with pads and another post on i believe overclock3d stated it does not need to as long as its not reused, contradicts their statement on the pamphlet manual instruction to install the block itself.
  10. Hi all, I have questions about notebooks with integrated heatsink to the GPU and CPU. The GPU thermal pad ripped off and still attached to GPU, I know i have to replace it but can i use thermal paste + thermal pad like a sandwich and hopefully get better thermals than just with the pad? I've been looking for this online all night, could not find a single thing. Has anyone tried this? If so whats the temps like as opposed to just the thermal pad. Thanks Note: Everyone keeps asking if they can use thermal paste than pad which i know cannot be done because there's too much of a gap for paste to fill.
  11. Dvi does not transfer sound. HDMI does
  12. Dear customer, Thank you for contacting EK Support. We are sorry, but we don't have fullcovered waterblock for aftermentioned videocards. Due to recent amount of work with several other blocks and items, we are not planning to make a fullcovered waterblock for this videocard in near future. However if we change our plans we will publish that under news section. If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Lep pozdrav, Kind regards, MFG! Its not listed. Please respond back. My email is************************ and i really want to get to watercooling my setup but don't want to buy a useless waterblock if my graphic card is not able to fit correctly. It is a reference design graphic card, GTX 780 3GB Time sent: 08. 14. 2013 03:00:40 Can somebody translate this. I feel so stupid lol, but can't seem to understand what their saying and from what you know can you tell me whether my Galaxy GTX 780 3gb reference design is compatible with any waterblocks because as the guy from EK said it doesn't work or something?
  13. yes. All i want to know is why coolingconfigurator did not put in a list for the galaxy version even though there all the same reference ones unless they aren't by some chance?
