Ehhhhh, if you have the money I'd say just wait for the 1080. At worst you'll have to wait a couple more weeks but that'll be better than your 1070 becoming relatively less powerful faster than a 1080 would be and thus probably having to buy a new card sooner than a few weeks.

Good: Got a fair amount of RAM (10 gigs) and an okay GPU (gtx 750) Bad: Have an AMD FX-6120 6 core, and worst of all I was even given an alright i5 but still have an AMD motherboard so it won't fit until I get a new one >.<

Last projector I had was at least a good 5 years old, not a very high quality one, and was...subpar overall, to say the least. This one looks exceptional, however! Good luck to everyone!
