  1. So the title says it all, my mate wants to get a soundbar. HOWEVER, if you have other options, that would suit him better for improving sound quality without taking a lot of space and as he said it "is kinda flashy" (has rgb), let me know in the comments. I'm honestly a bit useless when it comes to sound peripherals, only ever used headphones. Budget: £100 Monitor: Samsung LS34J550WQUXEN 34" Ultra Wide LED Monitor Requirements: must work for his laptop and ps5, both will be connected to the monitor with HDMI cables (monitor only has 2 HDMI ports, but it has 1 DP) He told me that he was looking at the Razor Leviathan V2 X, but looking at the review from LTT about the non X variant, I don't really want to recommend it to him, so, any other options?
  2. My VG27AQ monitor has about 8 bugs (not software bugs, but actual bugs) behind the screen and I can't find a single teardown video/guide/user manual that would show me how to disassemble the monitor so that I could clean it up myself. I've contacted ASUS support as the monitor is still under warranty, but apparently, bugs being able to crawl into the monitor is not a manufacturer defect so they won't do shit about it. Is anyone here able to help? P.S. I've seen the videos of people managing to "clean" their bug problem with suction cups and electric toothbrushes, I'm not doing that, I will either clean it properly or die trying. P.P.S. I've seen the video of VG248QE disassembly, (and have done it myself on my VG248QE) but the bezel build quality as well as style is so much different compared to VG27AQ that I'm not 100% it will work
  3. Building a new system and I'm afraid that the AK620 cooler doesn't have enough clearance for Trident Z5 Neo RGB RAM, I have been trying to find the dimensions for it basically everywhere, but no luck. Couldn't find any builds using those 2 components together either, can anyone share with me this top-secret knowledge? (and before you say that the dimensions are on Amazon, no they are not, the bs that is written there is absolute nonsense, it says that the RAM is 2cm wide, 25cm long, and 16 cm tall, which is just impossible)
  4. What is your budget? EDIT: you can go to the pcpartpicker website, pick storage, and I'm pretty sure they have a database of all storage solutions that exist + their current price
  5. Hi there, PC PROBLEM: I have a GTX1080 (specifically STRIX-GTX1080-A8G-GAMING) since new, that is now dying on me, it started off by getting artifacts and crashes (full pc shutdown, or rather a restart as pc would try to reboot itself right after, sometimes with image, sometimes without) when GPU was underload (aka, playing games), but in a couple of days, it degraded to the point of crashing even when idling or just browsing the internet, sometimes it would crash before I even logged into windows or few seconds/minutes after. EXTRA: Also, not sure if that's related, but is a bit *sus*, is that the GPU failed few days after I bought myself a new 2k monitor, so instead of having 2x 1080p monitors connected to the GPU, now I have 1x 2K & 1x 1080p monitors. DIAGNOSIS: I followed the vram diagnostic instructions from this video: and the result I got is attached to this post. Repair Problem: I've called multiple repair centres and all of them are saying that they don't do GPU repairs anymore due to the climbing price of chips, so I've decided that I'll fix the card myself by replacing the vram chips, but the problem is that I'm not 100% sure if the vram is faulty, as I've heard that it's a toss up between a video controller that is built into the main GPU chip (no idea what the official name of that chip is) and vram. My suspicion that the video controller is faulty stems from the fact that there aren't a lot of errors for each vram chip, only 64 for C0, 144 for D0 and 80 for D1, where as when I watched other YouTube videos of people replacing vram, the errors when in a tens of thousands. Final Question: Is there anything else I could do to confirm what exactly is faulty in my GPU?
  6. I'm second guessing myself cause the MH752 are out of stock on amazon, until 21st EDIT: Nevermind, the seller i wanted to buy from just removed their listing, i guess I will buy them from someone else, thanks for help guys
  7. One last question, I've been doing some more research and I found these Logitech G PRO X Gaming Headset for only £10 over my budget, how do they compare against mh752?
  8. Yeah, I noticed that, but went to sleep so didn't comment. Uuu, I saw you comment on a lot of posts like this, and yeah, it looks like they will be my best option. If nobody else comments on this post with additional suggestion, I'll go buy cooler master mh752. Thanks
  9. That's why I didn't ask for gaming headsets, and the only reason why I looked at Razor is cause I thought it might be a good starting point. Anyway, thanks for the list, I will go through and see what I like.
  10. Fair enough, but honestly I don't really want to buy another pair of HyperXs, a bit too gamer-ish, especially since at work we are allowed to listen to music and I'd rather not have another pair of headphones that scream GAMER to my boss and colleagues. (yes, I will be buying earphones for my work, I've just been a bit lazy about it.... for the past year and a half )
  11. just decrease the overclock, try half of what you did previously and see if it works, if it looks like it does, let it run for 20min, if it still runs, try to stress test it to make sure it's stable, if it's stable, you can try increasing it, if not, decrease. Rinse repeat until you find a sweet spot for your CPU.
  12. Hi all, So my HyperX Cloud Revolvers just broke after 2 - 3 years of service, and am in a market for new Headphones, any suggestions? my budget is up to £100, but that doesn't mean I'm not interested in headphones for like £30 - £50. I've been looking at Razer Kraken X, but I'm not sure if it's a good buy. (mic is mandatory as I often play with my mates) Thanks to all willing to help.
