  1. This would be able to do that if I understand you correctly http://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/. This page gives you a basic overview of how to use it: http://linuxbsdos.com/2012/03/10/restore-the-windows-bootloader-to-mbr-after-dual-booting-with-linux/
  2. Do you have another PC you can use to put the hard drive in or to create a bootable memory stick?
  3. Just get a paid antivirus like Bitdefender or Kaspersky if you don't already have one. Other than that if you don't have excessive CPU usage for no reason you should be fine. If that is all you can mark this post as solved Glad to help
  4. Glasswire is a network analyzer so you will have to manually check which recurring request like ones to https://coin-hive.com/lib/coinhive.min.js are suspicious and block them in firewall or just use adblock. Alternatively you can use a plugin like minerBlock Chrome extension but I recommend using glasswire
  5. AdwCleaner is also a very handy tool for cleaning up your pc Strange that it was cached on your router
  6. The easiest way to check for bitcoin miner script is running something like glasswire or having a firewall pc logging all the requests. The JS displaying the ads was probably caused by just visiting some shady website you can clear your cache on your pc and phone to remove it.
  7. Forgot to add that I did check date and time and certificate expiry dates.
  8. Hi, I have been trying to figure this out for months. The laptop is getting a certificate invalid error when just trying to google. Going to a website URL directly excluding google doesn't give you an error but none of the external CSS or js is loaded it gives the Certificate invalid error in the console. This mostly occurs in chrome most pages are fine in Firefox. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling chrome. I have also tried installing the root certificates manually. In event viewer it gives the unable to install certificate error often. I am befuddled and have no idea what to do.
  9. How do I mark it as answered? NEVER MIND
  10. I had the subnets wrong way around in my original post but thanks I firstly port forwarded from WAN router to firewall then verified it. I then simply Port forwarded to 192.168.2.30(server) and it worked. Well Wasn't quite THAT easy but not particularly hard as well. Thing is I didn't understand how an unmanaged switch worked but that I researched. And all the other port forward rules the WAN router was set to 192.168.1.3(no idea) so I initially did that as well instead off just port forwarding to 192.168.1.201(firewall) I did that as I didn't understand and still don't why 192.168.1.3 I thought that there was some hidden reason for it,only vox was forwarded to 192.168.1.1. SO IT WORKS!! \/ this forum's editor And on a sidenote the editor is for some reason highlighting the previous text so I am not able to Fix any mistakes in this post without rewriting everything after that, any idea why this is suddenly happening, its the 2nd time. Thanks for the guiding
  11. The problem is it is 2 different subnets, I know how to port forward from the WAN router to the Untangle PC that's easy but what do I do from there to I Port Forward it to the unmanaged switch, the Wifi router or the server? Because its not just like I can Port Forward from the WAN router to the Server since the server is on a different subnet. And how to physically change the settings I understand but to which adress should I Port Forward
  12. I wish my setup was this easy.
  13. Netgear DGN 2200v3 and Netgear WNR1000v3
  14. I've been trying to figure out how to port forward to my server but can't seem to figure it out. Configuration: Internet->WAN Router->Untangle Linux Firewall->Unmanaged Switch->Wifi AP Router At the moment the server is connected to the WAN Router but I want to configure it to be connected to the Unmanaged Switch. The WAN Router is on 192.168.2.x subnet while the Wifi AP Router is on 192.168.1.x I want be able to reach the server from the internet and from the Wifi AP Router.
