  1. You know, you're right. Not worth the risk. I think I'll do that. My RX 470 will probably be more of a bottleneck than my ram, anyways. Thank you all for helping me!
  2. Even when I overclock the slower one to match the speed of the faster one?
  3. But can I buy one 3000mhz stick and only overclock my existing 2400? Or does the overclock affect both sticks?
  4. I just picked up a Ryzen 7 1700 for a bargain. I currently have one 8gb 2400mhz crucial ballistix sport lt ram stick, but since Ryzen benefits so much from dual channel and higher ram speeds I want to buy another stick. The thing is, 3000mhz sticks are really cheap, just as cheap as 2400mhz ram right now. I am willing to overclock my ram, so my options are: - buy 3000mhz stick, and overclock 2400mhz to match (is this even possible?), This way in the future I can replace the 2400 stick and still have one 3000mhz. - or buy another 2400mhz stick and overclock them both What should I do?
  5. When you're running an external display adapter, your integrated cpu graphics are usually disabled. Dual graphics only support a small set of GPU's and IGPU's so chances are small that your setup supports it.
  6. It is physically able to, but remember that you basically run three times the amount of pixels off of a single card so you will lose a LOT of performance. For lighter games it should be fine though.
  7. I have this monitor and for gaming it's a good panel. Refresh rate is a little higher than 60hz, and freesync makes the experience smoother. But it is TN, so don't expect much color-wise.
  8. You sure tera isn't opened on any other screen you might have turned off? Btw this thread probably needs to be moved to troubleshooting.
  9. With a simple google search I found the AsRock X99E-ITX/ac.
  10. They are both ddr3, so as long as you have 4 RAM slots in your mobo it should work. Both kits are also 1600mhz so there shouldn't be a slowing down problem.
  11. Maybe, but that's not in the Netherlands.
  12. Thanks! I do have some lego portal figurines, but those are white and blue and would be in high contrast with the black and red build I think?
  13. Thanks man! Please post your build if you're gonna use the same case, I am a sucker for inspiration
  14. Haha nope, im in the Netherlands lol but thanks for the offer
