I need to know the exact combination of components - I hear many stories of intel hdg4000 only supporting 1440p55 over hdmi.

My laptop has intel hd graphics 4000 and outputs via hdmi 1.4. Does anyone know if 1440p60 is supported by intel hd graphics 4000 over hdmi 1.4. PLEASE only reply if you have real world experience of this issue.

What is the best >=26 inch vesa mountable ips monitor available? Non-essential things: Curved = Good >1080p = Good Adobe RGB = Very Good Slim Bezel = Good >5ms response = Bad (but may be acceptable) Good contrast ratio = a must.
