  1. Hi there! I have a Vizio 70" 4k which supports both, HDR10 and Dolby Vision. After testing both HDR10 (through Windows 10) and Dolby Vision (Through the TV App), I find that Dolby Vision on Netflix looks 10times better. Colours are not washed out on Dolby Vision like they are in HDR10 Dolby Vision is also much brighter than HDR10. I have my PC hooked up to a Dolby Atmos (not to confuse with Vision) receiver which I use to watch Netflix and other movies through my computer. I don't have an easy way to hook up my TV to the receiver unless I get optical (which only supports 7.1 and not bitstream). Anyway... Is there anyway to get Dolby Vision working on Windows 10 through the Netflix app? I pay for the top tier so UHD works for me. I've tried downloading the Dolby Vision app which only gives me a slider which supposedly turns Dolby Vision on. And that kind of works, when it's switched to on, the Netflix app shows "Dolby Vision + Dolby Atmos", but my TV is only running in HDR10 and when I try to load up any movie/tv show it just crashes the app until I either turn off HDR10 (which also turns off Dolby Vision) or just turn off Dolby Vision through their Dolby Vision app. Anyone have any success with Dolby Vision through their PC?
  2. Hello, So my goal is what the title entails. How can I use my laptop monitor which runs at 144hz as another monitor for my desktop? I want to use the power that my desktop has to run games at 144fps, and only my laptop has the capability of 144hz. Every screen extender software that I've tested only runs at 60fps which equals 60hz, obviously. Is there anything I could do that enables that 144hz? Thank you.
  3. So, I have a small follow up on this thread. I followed your steps, however, I did some of my own tweaking. I decreased the core voltage by -0.125volts, which drastically decreased temps from 80-90c down to around 60-70c. Then I changed my turbo boost power max to 90watts and the turbo boost short power max to 115 watts, high enough before thermal throttling. Then finally increased turbo boost power time window all the way to the max of 96 seconds cause I can, no thermal throttling, so no issues there. I managed to beat your score by roughly 50 points, not much but still
  4. Hey there! I've been running into this very annoying issue with my Linksys RE6500 Wife Extender. The issue with it is, the Ethernet keeps shutting off randomly, there's nothing that I know that could cause it, even when I'm afk; when I come back, I discover that I'm connected to an unidentified network with no internet. Here's what I know, - It's not the drivers, I've installed the latest Ethernet drivers for my PC and have even reset my PC without installing other drivers, and after some random time, it will not work. - Not my motherboard, I've tested the Ethernet on another laptop when this phenomena happens with another Ethernet port and it says the same thing. - Not windows, I've tried it on Linux... (I'm now just testing everything I can) - Not the extender Firmware, I've upgraded the firmware and the extender says it has the latest firmware for it. Here's the weird thing, when this happens, I just plug in my USB WiFi card into my PC and it instantly find the extender and connects to the internet, so I have no clue what the issue could possibly be. Please, if anyone here is a tech wiz, or knows what I could do to try to fix it, then post! Thanks for your time!
  5. I won't be able to do that because the cords aren't long enough to reach my smaller montior. The biggest monitor has an hdmi, and only takes hdmi.
  6. Thanks for clicking, I need help on creating my triple monitor setup look a bit better. (Be aware, this is 2 TVs and a monitor) So I have 1x 27" TV, 1x 20" TV and 1x 18" Monitor. I don't care about that, but here's what I'm trying to get right. As already expected, the tv is really big and doesn't make the flow look very good looking, so I want to resize the actual workspace then move it down and to the right. I am trying to move the workspace to fit the other screens. http://imgur.com/a/pBW1c There's a picture of what I'm trying to do.
  7. I'm using some WFirst keyboard from China, running on a budget. A new keyboard would be amazing!
  8. I'm only making Videos, not streaming.

Thanks.
  10. Umm, I don't know why, but I put an 8k image and just used "Span" and I guess that made it unblurred on my tv. Thanks for the help guys.
  11. Huh, the image still looks blurry on the tv
  12. So there wouldn't be a way to fix that? I've tested it, I have used single 1920*1080 wallpapers on the big monitor and it looks FINE, but bigger ones apparently look worse.
  13. If you click "full size" on the image, you'll get the right one.
  14. I think the site is downscalling that, on my side it's the right size
