I attempted on both sides. But only was reading 8gigs

Did my best to cable mange it. I did split up the ram but it's not reading the left side of the slots. Any tips would help. Video/Editing and everything else is really smooth. Update: Figured out the ram problem. All is well now, updated the pic Specs: Asus X99-A 5820k Corsair 16 DDR4-2666 GTX 970 Corsair H110

Have you checked if the motherboard is compatible. Gigabyte MB's are the best for doing Hackintoshes.
